  1. Right, but I have no idea what current shareholder benefits are as far as voting rights are concerned. It probably won't make a huge difference in the grand scheme of things, but it would be a shame if Society members who are also shareholders get more voting rights than people who are just Society members.
  2. Regarding the shares - would they offer voting rights? I like the idea (although not sure we could 50,000), but would be a shame if the Society's approach of one-member-one-vote was compromised in any way.
  3. Robinson said in his post match he'd likely freshen up the team for Sunday. Whether that means the starting 11 or the bench I guess we'll see. Presumably that will also depend on whether or not we have any knocks or niggles. I suspect Aberdeen will be a bit smarter next time around. We really seemed to catch them off guard last night.
  4. 6,430 according to the Beeb. 4,400+ of which were 'Well fans, according to Official Twitter.
  5. I have a feeling Bigi and/or Frear will get a run out at some stage to give them a different look to think about.
  6. Different ballgame on Sunday. Aberdeen know what to expect now - plus it's a different mentality from a cup game. Will be interesting to see if McInnes tries to match up with us or take a different approach.
  7. Sounded like Robinson has tried to sign him a few times, so obviously rated him. Has been a cracking but of business so far.
  8. Hope everybody that managed to back us at 7/2 enjoys their winnings.
  9. Hopefully, Bigi will be used for that at some stage in the 2nd half.
  10. Going to be an interesting second half. Not over yet, but couldn't have asked for a much better start.
  11. Aye, it's definitely a bit of cup tie with both teams hammering in and running about without much composure.
  12. It sounds like I'm biased, but Joe was the best timer of a tackle I have ever seen - his record of no bookings for about 15 consecutive seasons (or whatever it was) backs that up. Plus, he had all the attributes of today's modern, attacking full backs with his runs up the wing and great passing. As an added bonus, his ball juggling was first rate too - keeping us entertained when there was a stoppage on the pitch.
  13. Of course I'm seeing it. That's why I have us beating Aberdeen. * or maybe I was joking
  14. Beat Aberdeen. Hammer Celtic in the semi. Lose 5 - 1 to Hibs in the final. It's how we roll.
  15. I agree, I think it was precautionary - but I don't think the application of any concussion protocol was required. And from the team news, it seems we are fully fit. Amazing how everybody stays fit when we are playing well. Still 50/50 that Dunne has a dodgy pen awarded against him from his seat in the stand.
  16. It's not. Like I said, there are no US deals for any domestic Scottish football this season. Fox Soccer Network had the deal last season, but it has since expired.
  17. Thanks to the deal-making expertise of the mighty SFA and SPFL, there is a grand total of zero domestic Scottish football on US telly this season. So it's a case of find your favourite stream.
  18. The SFA (and UEFA and FIFA) periodically issue edicts to clamp down on various negative aspects of the game, but it rarely lasts more than a few weeks. Wasn't the latest one defenders fouling inside the box at corners? That worked well.
  19. My point is not specific to that decision. My point is that if a player dives when he's fouled, and dives when he's not fouled, that makes it more difficult for refs to tell what is a legit pen. As a result, you get decisions like the Boyle one on Saturday. If Tait had just gone down without the swan dive, he might have got the pen instead of the yellow card.
  20. Like I said, I'm not against the appeal. Just pointing out it's theatrics like that that have refs making bad decisions in and around the penalty box.
