  1. I'd obviously have been delighted if we had won, but not too disappointed today. Turned out pretty much the way I imagined it might. We have put in some great cup performances this season, but beating Celtic in a final is a different proposition. Realistically, we don't have the quality in the team right now to do that without a slice of luck. Give where we were last season, and the amout of new faces we brought in over the summer, it's been great progress. If we make the same progress again next season, it should be a good one. (And how nice has it been to have cup games at home and deep runs in both?)
  2. My browser is loaded up with script, pop-up and ad blockers, so nothing makes it through except the stream. That tends to be the case with most streaming sites, unfortunately, but a few browser plugins avoids the problem.
  3. This one seems to be working. http://live.drakulawidget.com/streamvideo10/celtic-vs-motherwell-live-stream-4661202.html
  4. Same here. I'm working to day too (with a few hours break around kick-off time). It's always more nerve-racking when you're not there, but got the VPN up and running and checked I can get BBC Scotland - then changed channels so I don't have to suffer that Royal Wedding mince.
  5. Quiet on here now. Is it just me stupid enough to be working? I hope I don't fall asleep later when the game's on.
  6. Truth! Nothing wrong with wanting good health and a cup win.
  7. From what I read last week, Airdrie are keen to take Watt on a permanent deal.
  8. Cup winners go into the 2nd qualifying round. So that's 26th July and 2nd August.
  9. And the winner of The Well Society's Cup Final Competition is....... Kieran Galway! That doesn't sound suspicious at all
  10. I'm pretty sure he'll know who it is.
  11. Replace the steelworks with a sports centre and a Nandos?
  12. Hope everyone flying in has a great trip. And an even better one, flying back home.
  13. Not ideal, but better this than playing during an international break and getting injured before an important league game.
  14. Ah, fair enough. I don't think I have a seen a Bournemouth game this season.
  15. I know what you mean. A classic modern full back/wing back - great going forward, not so great at defending. I saw he is the best crosser of a ball in the Premiership though, according to the stats.
  16. Is Ryan Fraser not a winger? I thought Cadden was brought in as an option to play wide right, rather than wingback or mid.
  17. Yes. The same signing philosophy would apply. Young players lacking first team opportunities with a point to prove.
  18. I don't think it will mean the end of shirt logos. I think it could mean there will be both options. I'd guess a majority of shirt buyers are younger people who want the exact same one as the players - logo and all, so those will never disappear. The Man Us of this world play to different sponsorship rules (although I'm sure they'd be delighted to offer different sponsors a space on their collar, and sleeve and shorts every week for large fee), but I'm sure they would find a way to monetize it too.
  19. Once the technology catches up, I imagine TV companies will be able to superimpose sponsor logos onto shirts on the video (a bit like they can do with advertising at pitch side). That way, the sponsors could still get their product on the telly, and clubs could sell shirts without the logo. That technology isn't too far away.
  20. Talking of which, I read somewhere that Airdrie are keen to have Hastie and Watt back for next season (signing Watt permanently if he isn't renewed with us).
  21. Regardless - clubs break contracts all the time. Sacking managers, and ditching players are the most common examples, but Rangers have many more examples of breaking contracts recently.
