The problem was everybody jumping on the bandwagon giving him too much credit for that run. I said at the time there was a lot more to it than bringing him in on loan. There were many factors in play, not least of which was Faddy hitting a bit of form at that time. He's not a terrible keeper, but I think some people's blind hatred of our other 2 keepers at the time elevated him (in their eyes) to some sort of Randolph-esque status. (and he lies about his height).

I've a vague recollection of a similar situation where the "wee" home team played the tie at the away team's ground. But it might have been down in England. So no help there from me.

I prefer the "play better and win more games" approach myself, but if anyone prefers the "lose 8 - 1 before getting a nil-nil draw" approach, more power to them.

If you listen to McGhee's post-match, we did do our set-piece homework. The guys just seem incapable of doing it on the park. Sadly, it's been an issue for 3 or 4 seasons now. The throw-ins seem to be a Fir Park thing. It has been that way for the last 30+ years!
