The big difference with this season's team is lack of draws. Definitely lacking in consistency compared to last season's team, but that is to be expected given the wholesale changes and the injury list we have been dealing with. If we can add a couple more faces next season and keep the core, we should be capable of improvement.

Don't forget Lee Erwin is back in the frame too, now he's recovered from his injury.

I don't think we have ever had a white away kit I didn't like. A wee bit of C&A trim, light dirzzle under the floodlights, Bovril in hand watching the ball zip about. Can't beat it.

I think I have asked pretty much everyone by now. The only answers I have ever received are "we don't have the infrastructure" or "we'll look into it". Given their reliance on distant fans for contributions, I would have thought it more of a priority to keep them involved.

For as long as I can remember, 'Well fans have complained about certain players "not tackling" etc. From Brian McLair to Gary McAllister. I even heard it leveled at Bobby Russell and Davie Cooper. If Ainsworth continually tracking back means he's not going to be available for the out ball, or that he can't make as many forward runs, or that he tires quicker, then I'd rather he didn't do it. His net contribution to the team has been positive and hopefully he will be around next season to build on that.

My point wasn't really about the sash (although it seems to have taken on a life of its own), more about how the hoop rarely made an appearance in the 70s and 80s. Having said that, I was lucky enough to watch guys like Wullie P play in the sash kit, so it does have good memories.
