  1. Just for kicks, checked the MFC ebay thread and the last Matchday auction started on the 16th of April.
  2. I'd be wary of Brum right now thanks to their shady "President" and his money laundering activities. Type of situation that can turn nasty very quickly.
  3. That was to keep up with the guys wearing suits and ties on the terraces there.
  4. Stepped up their performance and, if necessary, spent a couple of million quid on new players.
  5. So in summary. 1) No consolidation of the governing bodies. 2) No redistribution of income. 3) No expansion of the top flight. 4) A playoff structure that nobody has quite thought out What's not to like?
  6. Because we already have him signed up until the end of the 2013/2014 season?
  7. Higdon's been a joy to watch this season and I'm lucky to have witnessed both his and Wullie P's record breaking seasons. For all that, I think we will face a bigger challenge (although, only just) in trying to replace Law.
  8. Depends what you mean by significant, but I thought that offers have already been made to the players we want to keep. Now it's a case of waiting to see if they find better elsewhere.
  9. Liked the 2 different descriptions of Higgy's pen from the Beeb and Sky Beeb: The thinking man's penalty Sky: Here's where I'm putting it, you're no' going tae get it
  10. He seemed pretty happy in the studio too - was really enjoying the performance.
  11. Aye, let him put out what ever Celtic team he likes - we can beat them all.
  12. His old team mate in the studio is keeping him on the straight and narrow. McAllister was always a good influence.
  13. That was a lot of words you used there to say you agree with me.
  14. If they want to sell adult sizes then presumably they need it to appeal to adults too.
  15. Undoubtedly a combination of money and a fear that it will be a long time before they get the clubs so close to agreement again. One thing you can be sure they aren't worried about is the fans' view.
  16. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/22307991 Just sayin'
  17. Alison sent me a receipt for my credit card transaction.
  18. That's kinda petty and pathetic though and drags us down to their level. No need for us to be as childish as them.
  19. Don't have a problem with it at all. TBH, with a few exceptions, I don't have any issues with the players from either side of the teams formerly known as the Old Firm. It's the people that run them and the bigots that support them I have no time for. The fact that it shows we like to rise above the petty politics is a bonus.
  20. Better article in The Scotsman today.
  21. Likewise. If they had kept the sleeves amber I think it would have been a winner.
  22. Too right. A classic example over here is baseball. 162 games in the regular season means some of the useless teams can easily end up playing 30 or 40 (or more) meaningless games in any given year. More meaningless given that there isn't even relegation to fight.
  23. He's back as a starter now, but he missed a few games recently due to a groin injury.
