Is the tie going to be shown on MFC TV? I bought a new HD monitor this time last year just in case this ever got off the ground (widescreen, in case Malcolm got a game).

Thanks to the transfer window, players tend to hold out until it's nearly closed before they make a final decison; just in case they miss out on a good offer. If we are going down the 'nae money' path, Sbragia actually has a decent record of working of developing youth team players (including guys like Darren Fletcher, according to wiki). Would be a risk, though.

2 weeks is nothing in the grand scheme of an interview process. If they intereviewed say, 8 people in round 1 and invited 3 back for a second interview, there's 11 days gone already (assuming you could do the interviews on consecutive days).

Aye, but what if rented a bigger ground, paid for all the extra stewarding/policing etc. and Man U didnt bring enough fans to cover the extra costs? It's all about the money, and just because you move to a bigger stadium doesn't mean you are guaranteed a bigger profit.

What they'll be worried about (obviously) is moving it, and then not getting enough fans turning up to cover the costs of renting the bigger stadium. No doubt, the club representatives will be able to give them an idea of traveling fans likely to turn up regardless of the first leg result. Then it will just be a case of "do the sums add up?"
