  1. I've been enjoying the commentator. From sclaffs to "Sunday Post dives" he's been quite entertaining.
  2. This one didn't even make it to half time.
  3. I had my internet upgraded this week from a dodgy, slow, cuts-out-15-times-a-day connection to a 2GB fibre connection. Really looking forward to... checks notes .... the low bit rate audio stream.
  4. I believe the club streams the BBC, BT Sport(TNT) or Sky live feed being sent back to the studio. If Viaplay doesn't have a live feed at Fir Park then we're out of luck.
  5. He's taking flak because he slagged off those very same players when we signed them (Higdon being a classic example, but there are many others). He also complains about the level of every player we sign and points out we should be signing much higher quality without ever providing a single example of any player we could have signed that meets those criteria. It's pointless, boring and a pretty tired trope for every player we sign to be labelled as useless before they even turn up at Fir Park. "It's all about opinions" is why climate change deniers still get air time on TV and some people in the US still think Trump is president. Sometimes wrong is just wrong and trolling is just trolling.
  6. poppadom tsh, surely? (just rogan joshin')
  7. Did they start 3 academy players and play them in Elgin?
  8. We should save him a seat this season in the ex-players box.
  9. No place in the Utd squad for Moult this evening. He's not injured already is he? I genuinely hope not.
  10. One of them will, two will arrive the week after. (or I could just be guessing)
  11. A gig in India is pretty lucrative these days. Sounds like another bit of business that is beneficial to both parties.
  12. To his credit, it didn't take SK long to figure out how to best utilise van Veen.
  13. Before Robinson, McCall had even more success and he didn't need to resort to any grim stuff. Based on early season, SK looks like he wants to play from the back and through the thirds (as they say). Those tactics don't require wingers necessarily, but they do need players all over the pitch that can pass the ball.
  14. Presumably Tierney's new employers don't see him as lightweight, despite League Two having more than it's fair share of bruisers.

    The Pitch

It's changed days when the only complaint about our pitch is that some bits of grass are a slightly different shade of green.

    The Pitch

Looked great on the stream too.
  17. I have no idea if yesterday's strikers will end up being productive, but I wouldn't write them off in preseason. The classic slow starter was Chris Porter and he turned out OK. Higdon took time to get into his stride too.
  18. Replacing van Veen is a bit of a double edged sword
  19. If nothing else we're starting to see the answer to the question "what style will SK want to play when he starts bringing in his own players?" Definitely more passing from the back and definitely playing more through the midfield. It worked in spells, and it others it lacked cohesion. The movement for the goal was excellent. Queen's Park are probably as good as some of the teams we'll play in the league this season so a good early test.
  20. You come at the Queen's you better not miss Make your choice...
  21. Not sure why a CEO would be involved in any aspect of recruitment other than budgetary.
