  1. Totally slipped my mind. Sorry. Tenner sent.
  2. Connor Ripley signed. 22 year old, 6ft 3in tall goalie. http://www.motherwellfc.co.uk/2015/07/31/well-sign-goalkeeper-ripley/

That's me caught up on them all, and I even got a mention on the last one before the play-off (the very last one I listened to!). Cheers Jay. It's nice to know I make sense every now and again. Good stuff guys, keep it up.
  4. Mind that time Davor Suker chipped Peter Schmeichel?

    Mfc Podcast

Bought a new FM transmitter gadget for the works van so I've finally been able to catch up on the podcasts stretching back to around the split. Good stuff. Also listened to the 'meltit' and '6-1' versions a few times. Brilliant! Glad you've included the 'Fir Park. Twisting. Shouting. Shaking.' commentary at the start. Had been listening to the summer specials and thought that should have been added.
  6. I'm in for a tenner. I'll sort it out when I'm home my holidays.
  7. Put this in the shoutbox, too. Wee interview with 'Flow with regards to players coming and going. http://www.clyde1.com/sport/news/listen-alan-burrows-on-play-off-problems/#.VYFr0dFIvc8.twitter
  8. Phew! I read that as the next Straker

    Lee Erwin

I know it's taking someone else's word for it but the fee quoted on Twitter by one of the Agent/In The Know types was £380k. Seemed quite definite about it. No idea if that's before, or after, any taxes.
  10. And I don't think we can base every signing on whether, or not, we'll get a transfer fee. Sometimes we might just have to sign someone that can do a job.

And maybe a wee poster pull-out in the middle the way they did with players this season.
  12. Aye, that's why I was wondering if we'd had clarification. Saw on Twitter, there, the official line is 'It didn't work out' but I had heard about attitude problems and him just being told not to darken our doorstep again.
  13. Did we ever officially find out what happened with Nathan Thomas? Did he have a poor attitude and was asked to leave? Or was he just AWOL? Or was at the club until Sunday and the one year option has not been taken up? Do we even care?
  14. The Sun are reporting it as a done deal.
  15. And I think that's why Sutton got to take the penalty above Erwin. I think it was only right that he got to sign off with a goal given all that he's contributed over the years. Erwin's had an offer to stay and has other clubs interested so not quite as big a deal to get a goal.
  16. Missed all our goals. Was only just in from the wee man's training when the first went in so went on to Kodi to get a stream. Decided to plug the laptop in to the telly in the spare room to leave the girls to watch Britain's Got Talent and missed the second while I was downstairs getting the HDMI adaptor out my bag. Then when Erwin passed the ball to Ainsworth the wee man got so excited he jumped on the remote and changed the input source! Also cheered as loud as for a goal when Long saved from Boyd.
  17. That's exactly how I see it. They have to come out and score instead of sitting on a lead.
  18. Just got my tickets and saw another guy getting turned away. He actually said to them 'ssh, I'm a Rangers fan but I've been following Motherwell for a couple of years' and couldn't understand why he got turned away!
  19. Season ticket seats are being held open until Friday. Just read it again - I take it you mean tickets for Ibrox?
  20. Big handsome John's name has just appeared on the PFA list of out-of-contract players looking for a club!
  21. I think, in the main, there's two types of people here: 1 - those that appreciate the straight talking and are, most likely, already members and/or are in a position to invest. 2 - those that are not in a position to invest and find the 'put up, or shut up' a little condescending & arrogant. I fall in to the 2nd category. A little like Al B mentioned, I buy myself and my son season tickets, buy my son home & away strips (amongst other merchandise), buy programmes, food/drink & half time tickets on matchdays and have sent my son to coaching through the Community Trust since he was a toddler (8 years and counting). So is there any reason I shouldn't feel a little offended when I'm told I'm not doing enough for my club? I would love to chip in but something would have to give. Would the money I put in to the club via the Society be of more value than the money I contribute via MFC Community goalkeeper coaching?
