I'm 50/50 on Mugabi as I like him because he does have the ability but he also switches off from time to time. If the Ox or whoever our number one will be has a bigger physical presence and better control of balls into the box then that will take pressure off the defenders. Less pressure, less mistakes. (hopefully) I think it makes sense to retain So'D, especially if on slightly reduced terms as a squad player or same wage but doing some coaching as well. He seems to be really popular with the rest of the squad so he's a good person to have around to help younger and newer players integrate.

If The Ox is up to the task then I'm more than happy for him to have a shot at being first choice with a young understudy. Having two goalies on a high wage is a waste in my opinion.

McCrorie should have left years ago. Throughout the SPL there aren't many clubs that give chances to homegrown 'keepers so really no point in sticking around.

I'd love to but flights are nearly £500 so can't justify the cost.

I'm satisfied that we worked our way out of our rut rather than sacking SK and keeping fingers crossed that that would fix it. I'm also satisfied by the performances of a handful of individuals and by the effort of the team as a unit throughout the season. There's a lot of room for improvement though and a lot of players leaving so I hope that SK can learn from his mistakes and put together a more solid squad for next season.
