Yes! Yes you have. Now go away. šš J/K

SOD was the right side, he got out jumped. (I just checked highlights) As someone stated yesterday we should have had Gordon or Casey on that guy. Having said that, I agree that SOD is not the answer in a back 3 and is struggling

Thatās us in 9th spot and probably in 10th after tomorrowās game when I expect Hearts to go above us. So our job now is to beat Dundee on Wednesday and then at least match them for points week by week
-
Another game where keeper has nothing to do and we are getting beat. sparrow getting the ball in decent areas but having to wait on support every time.
-
No pressure on the guy with the ball, just let him pick out his cross.

Ahh! The four spring duck technique

Youāre right ! šš

Iām with you on that point. I kinda get the Dennis Law goal but for the most part Iām ok with them celebrating as Long as itās not a GIRUY celebration. Not as if the āwell fans will be muting any celebrations if we score ācause Campbell is in their team !!

This thread seems to have gone off on a tangent. š³

It will be interesting to see his team selection this Saturday to see if he continues as is to get a look at players for himself or will he immediately shake things up with his āownā selection and tactics? Heās not had a lot of time with the players but I wonder how much footage he has watched and if he is already well aware of our weaknesses and who the poorer performers are. I think Iām in the camp of him shaking things up. Probably hard for changes to work right off the bat but it would give us hope that we will be moving on from the negative tactics weāve been used to recently. As long as he keeps us in the top flight Iāll be happy to see much better performances over results for the rest of the season. Of course, Iām hoping he can drastically up our performance levels AND get results but that might be a hard task till he gets āhis squadā

Any choice other than Trump would have been better.

I lost track of the goalie saga. Where did we get Ward from again? Can someone summarize for me?

I mean, There are some clever people here but the fact that they put the orange one back in the White House is soul destroying and testament to there being more idiots here than I ever imagined anyway! I digressā¦ā¦. āMon the āWell!!!!

If he likes to play high press he will have to do something that SK didnt manage and thatās move up and down the park as a team. I donāt know if our failure to do that was due to SK or the players. Iām hoping it was due to SK, itās certainly hard to move up and down as a team when you play hoofball. Obviously, His main goal is to keep us in the premier league but hopefully in doing so the fans will see an improvement in our playing style and tactics. Top six spot is still up for grabs but that might be just too much to asK of the new guy as I think realistically we would have to take 6 points from our next two games or at least 4 points.

Will we be changing the title of this thread to āOur new manager, who have we gotā?

So he should be back soon then?

How long is Ox out for ? Seems to be hell of a long time for broken finger.

Are they holding him for ransom?

We have a squad capable of finishing in top 6 but unfortunately decimated by injuries and hampered by tactics. From a possible starting 11 (shown below) we have Ox, McGinn, Seddon and Stam out and Kaletta been carrying an injury while playing and now out. The sooner Ox gets back the better. I think McGinn replacement has to be Balmer. Sparrow can replace Kaletta or perhaps Seddon but midfield is where it might make or break us. The new manager will have to quickly work out the best formation and combination of players to make us harder to beat but create more chances and support for attack. Forwards we have plenty but which ones will work the best???? New guy Armstrong looks decent but we havenāt given him many chances to see if he can score regularly. Maswanhise is unpredictable but probably worth starting to see if itās a good day or bad day. No point on bringing him on as a sub to find out itās a bad day. if the new manager is worth his salt he should be able to take what we have and at least keep us up. Ox McGinn Gordon Casey Kaletta Nicholson Slattery Miller Seddon Maswanhise Stam

Casey should be starting. Has his flaws but for my money, is a starter in our team. I understand trying to keep discipline among the players but not at the expense of being relegated.
