What the hell, MIC. it's a great day. You go spend it all at once if you like

Haven't been this nervous about a game in a long long time. Emotions range from us gubbing them by 3 or 4 to them gubbing us by 3 or 4. Saturday can't come quick enough. Think the nerves are due to how much a win would mean to us more so than worried about dropping points. Wish there was a live stream to watch. getting updates via the shout box is going to be too agonising i think.
-
I didn't realize we owed money to John Boyle. Guess i wasn't paying attention!
-
Thats my prediction....what oddds they giving for that?
-
Not sure if I can standgeting updates via the "shout box" on my saturday morning. Maybe just go get blootered on friday night so I don't wake up til the game is finished then look at the score....................of course I could just not look atthe score thil the game is over but why miss out an an excuse to get blootered!

So what 4 teams wil bein the semi draw and what would we like that to be?
-
What an awsome move............Fkn Brilliant!!! ............ and he plays for us, can you belive it???
-
But remember Pettigrew was assisted by Bobby Graham. Not many played could control a ball like him. Didn't matter what speed or angle the ball came to him at one touc and it landed at his feet. However in saying that, pettigrew just knew how to score goals. Just natural ability, instinct can't be coached. I still think he got a raw deal as far as international caps go. And he was fast. He used to go to athletic competitions with Dalziel high, run in his gutteis and tan the arse off of all the other high school posers with their fancy track suits spikes etc.

nothing's ever simple any more is it!

i have mentioend a couple of times in differnt threads.............. Just open the gates and make it free. No vouchers no tickets. they got the money from the first gate. Just make it an open invite. simple and easy and hopefully a nice big crowd to cheer the well on to victory
-
Still think they should just open up the gates and not bother about vouchers etc etc. They got the money from the first game so just open it up and see if they can get some armchair fans off their arses to come watch. Surely get a bigger crowd to get behind the lads.

to answer the initial question of the thread 60 points.

3 big games coming up where we need to pick up as many points as we can get. Considering our challengers fixtures this stretch could go a long way to securing 3rd spot or see us pitched into a dog fight for 3rd place. St Mirren (A) Hearts (H) Hibs(H) Here's hoping the lads can string some good results together. While I hope we play well in all 3 games it's all about grinding out results and getting the points on the board.
-
I'm hoping we can get to the split with 3rd place in the Bag. Considering the most our nearest challenger would get after the split is probably 9 points. If we are 10 points ahead at the split then for me it's in the bag. Considering we are now 6 points ahead it's not an impossible task but obviously one that requires we keep picking up points.
-
I fear you may be correct Folkie..........plus maybe yellow for simulation or perhaps even a straight red since he stooped to the level of cleverly simulating bruises and bleeding
-
I know it would be nice to be in 3rd place and to be taking points off of Celtic and Rangers but given the choice i will go with third place and zero points from the old firm. Again McCall did make an unpopular statement at the start of the season that it's how you do against all the other teams and not against the old firm. Unpopular words but at this point can't argue with the man's statement.
-
..........And I bet he won't lie down to the old firm. So heres hoping his enthusiasm and attitude rubs off on the rest of the players ( which I think it has done ) and we can actually manage to take some points from them, be interesting to see how they handle him.
-
I wasn't evn looking for him to be scoring goals but more making chances so the number of goals he is scoring is a bonus. But, as I may have stated elsewhere Ojamma is now another attacking option that opposition teams have to deal with. So if defences stiffle him out then chances are, one of our other palyers are going to punish them. I hope we are going from now to the end of the season as an aggressive attacking team. I really think that most teams will not be able to counter all of our attacking threats.
-
Ok Who are you and what have you done with the real MJC ??? LOL you may be the profit of doom but I am sure you are as delighted as the rest of us when we win!
-
and if i recall correctly i think Willlie Watson was right back at that time too and he wasn't exactly Mr Nice guy either!!!!
-
Speaking of impact.............I remember when Roger Hynd became manager. Peter Miller played like Beckenbaur for about half a dozen games............then fell back into the "kick his own granny" style of play. What a half back line in those days Miller McVie McLaren Not sure how long they would last nowadays?? They didn't mess around!!
-
I think he wil be a great signing for us. Teams can set up to combat players with certain styles eg Humphrey's speed. passing the bal on the ground, high balls in the centre etc but with players like Ojamma who have the natural ability to beat players it is very hard to combat other than kickin lumps out of him. Additionally it gives us another weapon and teams can only set up to combat so much. Even with Humphrey playing under par he was still occupying an extra defender so now are teams also going to deploy another extrfa defender to combat Ojamma as well? We may have a small squad but I think we have enough attacking threats now to make it a real problem for teams to snuff us out. C'Mon Ye Well!!

Hatrick Ojamaa Has a nice ring to it !!
-
Yep! I was just thinking that myself. Hopefully not.

WELL DONE JAMIE MURPHY!!!!! Nice to see that not everyone runs off at the first chance of more money. He has a lot of talent but going through a tough patch just now. I am sure he will come good again. and if that happens and then he leaves us I wil lbe more than happy for him. I hope the crowd gets behind him Saturday and shows our appreciation for him remaining at the club. We areleady threadbare squad and I think it is GREAT that he is staying, even it turnsout to be just till the end of the season. GAUN YERSEL JAMIE !!!!
