Absolutely top class offerings this week Andy! Thoroughly enjoyed every one. Brings into focus what it is that is so special about our wee diddy football club. Its the people, plain and simple. Hammy, Maxi, Robbo, all absolute class acts. As a post script, really enjoyed all the music at the end of each podcast this week and in general. Ever thought about doing a compilation CD? Not sure how the logistics would work with copyright etc but it could be a good wee fundraiser for the Well Society or a suitably chosen charity? Just a thought.

Couple of great offerings already this week lads. Interview with Hammy was excellent. Comes across as a really great guy with a clear vision of what he wants to do with the youth set up. Still to listen to the Ally Maxwell one and really looking forward to the Robbo interview Tuesday night. Keep up the good work. Up the Well!

Corona at Shawlands Cross (now called The Butterfly and Pig) should take Well fans. Its next door to The Shed where the Motherwell fan party is. The Ivory Hotel is decent en route to Church on the Hill. I would avoid Armstrongs on Battlefield Rd. Its good for Scotland games but its a Celtic shop so not sure what kinda welcome youd get. Clockwork is great but as you know from experience it will be rammed early doors.

He also conveniently ignores that Scott Brown dishes out plenty.

Aye over last 10 years its a fair enough comment. I was thinking more about the current criticism of our club and comparing who they currently have in their first team. No doubt Celtic and Rogers in particular have been good for the national team. Hopefully our academy boys will develop and prove to be equally important.

Good to hear about all the improvements being planned by the club. Im sure a lot of this has been made possible by our cup runs and the uptake in the Well Society, so it keeps the positivity and feelgood factor going into next season. I may have missed it, but has an upgrade of the PA system been confirmed? Couldnt hear a word Robbo was saying yesterday in the Hunter at end of the game. Just another wee thing that would improve the matchday experience.

Not normally one to defend Celtic but its hard to argue that Scots havent been integral in their recent successes. Their players are also integral to the national team...... Gordon, Bain, Tierney, Hendrie, Brown, Armstrong, McGregor, Forrest, Griffiths

We have had a very positive finish to the season ( St Johnstone game aside). We now have a clear week to mend any minor injuries and focus on the final. I think we should take consolation in the fact that this team has risen to the occasion for big games on every time of asking this season. I have no fear that we will bottle it. As long as everyone is fit and we get a fair shake of the dice from the officials, we have every right to be confident. Believe. Time for new heroes!

I think Aldred would want to. His performances would indicate that. Whether we could afford to keep him is a different matter....

Ciftci had a great game and looked much more comfortable as a loan striker with his back to goal holding things up. He is not the kind to run in behind so today suited him. Grimshaw was still MoTM though.

I thought Hendrie actually had quite a good game today. He is one that with a proper pre season could be a decent squad player. However not sure he is worth the investment as he will just block off a space forva development player. Demi Id get rid off. He has had lots of chances off the bench and Ive not seen anything to suggest he can offer anything. Plummer will be gone. Id do everything we can to keep Aldred. He has been fantastic. We have to accrpt that Cedric could be gone next year so he would be a ready made replacement with Hartley back in the fold and Maguire as back up.

Grimshaw for me. His intensity from the off was impressive. Snapped into tackles, broke up the play and passed it on magnificently. If fit should be a certain starter next week.

Really enjoyed that today. Very comfortable performance. Thought the intensity from Aldred and Grimshaw set the tone for the game. Both were excellent. Both Maguire and Turnbull put in creditable performances and showed enough to think they can feature next season. Ciftci was much improved as a lone striker. Took his goals well and was very unlucky not to get his hatctrick with a fsntastic effort off the crossbar. Secured 7th (and the £60k that goes with it) Got the clean sheet record. Really looking forward to next week now!

Play strongest team from start. Get the game won. Then rest players if we are able. We need the money for 7th place. If we win tonight and Accies beat Saints then Sat might not mean anything.

We go out and play our normal game. Do what we did to Aberdeen twice (League Cup and Semi) and to Rangers (League Cup). Press from the front, get in their faces and see where it takes us. Id like Steven McLean as ref. Outwith him anyone but Craig Thomson will do.

I really hope the ticket numbers are higher than being reported. Im a little bemused if there really is such a slow uptake. Im going in a group of ten out of whom Im the only regular attender due to geographical reasons. I figured most folk would be in a similar position with folk coming from far and wide. The Scottish Cup has always had that draw for clubs like ours....
