  1. Robinson admitted himself he wasnt happy with the way we played so would expect him to be trying to improve our quality going forward. However, lets be realistic. We were on a rotten run. Just as winning becomes a habit. So does losing. We have stopped that rot, got 2 wins and 2 clean sheets on the bounce. Lets just be thankful for that and leave the manager to fix the problem he has already identified.
  2. I hate when we have no games coming up. The level of trolling on here gets ridiculous. Its about as entertaining as Celebrity Big Brother! Thank fek the fitbas back next week.
  3. Stevie Hammell. More appearances than Joe Wark. Nuff said. Club Legend.

  5. I dont have any issues with having more ball players in the team. I'd love us to play the ball on the deck more and be more entertaining. Im just not seeing it from Bigi. Time after time yesterday, moreso in tbe second half, there was a team mate in space but by the time he controlled it did his wee pirhouette and decided there wasnt a better option the player was marked and he either lost possession or put another team mate under unecessary pressure. Id love him to be the player we thought we were getting, and there have been flashes of it, but he is so inconsistent. Very frustrating to watch.
  6. Bigi has talent but he is failing to deliver. He takes way too much time on the ball before playing a pass. If we can offload him we should.
  7. I tbought Newell was the only one with any spark today. Tanner tried hard but didnt deliver and regressed as the game wore on. I think there is a player there with Newell. He is quick, happy to take it into feet and immediately tries to turn his man. Deserves a longer run in team to get fitness up and prove himself.
  8. Thought we did okay first half and deserved to be ahead. Thought the pen was ridiculous as Hartley appeared to slide in with his hands at his side but happy to wait and see the highlights before totally deriding Dallas for the decision. 2nd half was awful. No gameplan. Just aimless hoofball going nowhere. The way we conceded the goals was concerning and the lack of composure from so called professional footballers was quite alarming. Not in the Robbo out camp but some of our senior pros need to have a look at themselves and ask if they are doing enough.
  9. Mon the Fish. Hat trick hero and boot that monkey right o'er the south stand!
  10. Defo going today. No football for 3 weeks. The chance to say thanks and goodbye to Louis and remember Phil. Always the chance we will be shite and lose but it was ever thus. But also possible we might win and get it right up that wee sh#te Imrie! COYW! SIWY!
  11. Was between Tanner and Carson. Both made mistakes that contributed to the result. Taking the positives went for Tanner.
  12. Every game that passes without him in the team, we learn to appreciate him a little more......
  13. First half was pretty comfortable and we had the 2 best chances of the half. You need to take those to win games anywhere let alone at Ibrox. 2nd half it all fell apart. Another cheap goal given away and absolutely no imagination going forward. Our "style" has become too predictable and without Moult its not working. Needs a rethink.
  14. I'd like to see Newell get a start if fit. Bit of mobility up front, run the channels in behind. Their defence wont like that. If Fisher is fit I'd agree with resting Bowman. Their players and fans will target him from the off. Suppose we need to see who is fit before we can think about what kinda midfield we can play but if Cadden and Frear both out we could do worse than give Ross McLean a start. Tanner and Bigi should both start as well.
  15. I think most fans are being understanding because they realise there has been a lot more going on than just Moult being out. The amount of effort it took just to get to the cup final let alone play in it ahouldnt be underestimated. We followed that with a really punishing schedule so its no surprise there has been fall out from that period culminating in all the injuries we have had. To be without your 5 best players is always going to show up in results. Yet, throughout this run there have still been plenty positives to give the fans hope going forward. The team spirit is still in tact, there have been some decent performances and Tanner and Bigi have stepped out of the shadows to show they have something to offer. Yes we need our injured players back. Yes we need a replacement for Moult but talk of Robinson being sacked is way off the mark given what he has had to contend with the last 2 months.
  16. Bigi clearly has talent. I dont think the style of play we have been employing really allows him to showcase that. Its just one part of the conundrum Robbo will have to work out as we move forward to a life without Louis. I thought Bigi was decent on Saturday. We need more players in the team that can pass and keep a hold of the ball.
  17. Would love to have seen what Moult could have done playing in that team....
  18. That was a sore one today. I thought it was a fairly even first half. Not much between the teams in terms of possession/territory. I thought we had the better of the chances. We played some good football and one move midway through the half took about 20 passes and brought a very good save from their goalkeeper. Had it been converted they would have been raving about it on Sportscene. Of course we concede to the now obligatory avoidable scrappy self inflicted goal to go in one down. 2nd half we dominated possession, played some nice stuff and created a raft of chances. However, bad finishing has cost us and we end up going home with nothing instead of the point, maybe 3 that we deserved. There was certainly no lack of effort and the players fought for each other to the end. Given the players that were missing we have a lot to be positive about but we need to find a way to reverse this run of defeats before it does actually turn into a slump in form.
  19. I think Bowman is suffering from the absolute hatchet job the Scottish media did on him after the semi-final. However, he is not a natural goal scorer. He could still be a reasonable foil for Moults replacement....
  20. Looks like he is cover while Carson is out as League rules dont allow us to recall one of our youth keepers who are out on loan.....
  21. I cant think who you are talking about? Ho ho ho, ho ho ho! Here I am standing here, which is where I am, over there!
  22. Would he? I know he will be desperate for first team football but THAT desperate? Pretty sure he's not a Rangers fan!
