Looking forward to this having missed the Celtic game. Hopefully we go into this full of energy and confidence.
Dundee United have a host of very good Individuals but few if them have hit peak form in recently games. Keep GMS and Armstrong under control and 3 points are there for the taking.
Oh aye, agree with that and fingers crossed that we can somehow get at least McHugh and Lawson off the wage bill. However, we should have been in a position to offer contracts to Lasley, Hammell and McManus by now.
Tremendous servant with that wee bit of extra quality that could have seen him play at a higher level.
Hopefully he's been offered a new contract by now.
The increase in price won't determine whether or not I renew but the current financial model is unsubstainable.
We pay decent wages to get us higher up the league but the increase in income is pissed away on staff bonuses. Focus has to be on developing younger players and securing long term contracts for players with sell on value.
We are one dodgy season away from admin.
I'd expect Celtic to drop points a couple of times before the end of the season.
Given our injury concerns though and general lack of quality in recent months however, I can't see us running Celtic close.
Impossible to predict before we know where we are with injuries. If we can beat Inverness and Sf Johnstone, then scraping the odd point should secure 3rd place.
Do we have any suspensions coming up?
Keeper could have saved the pen and should have saved the winner.
Poor call for the pen but McManus has benefited once or twice this season from close pen calls.
St Mirren are an odd team and often pull a performance out the hat. They really need a result today so you'd expect them to perform. And with McGinn and McLean they do have a decent midfield if you let them play.
Injuries are a growing concern but hopefully we can get over the line with 3 points before the 2 week break, putting the pressure back on Aberdeen ahead of their trip to Easter Road.
How Marshall ever got a coaching gig after his 4 years at Easter Road is beyond me.
Craig Gordon isn't the safest of bets but you don't often get someone with top notch quality in a Motherwell jersey.
Aye Inverness have got all their top players signed up. Don't know how they manage it.
Shinnie would be a great option for us too while McCall has always been a fan of Tansey.
6 points vital this week to keep Dundee United at arms length. I expect we'll tighten up a wee bit
In midfield given out last 3 performances.
No excuses for being 'leggy' on Tuesday given that this will be Inverness' 8th game in just over 3 weeks.
Interesting comments through the week regarding contract negotiations. I appreciate the delicacy of our finances but surely with top 6 secured, servants such as Hammell, Hutchinson and Lasley should have offers on the table along with any kid that we rate.
I obviously wanted us to go for the 3 points but given the Eremenko effort moments beforehand it was very naive. Ironic that we are caught out down that side with two right backs on the pitch.
Agree that Slater looks a player. Alan Johnston has had a fair amount of stick but I enjoyed watching his team in the 2nd half. Boyd and Eremenko bossed proceedings while Irvine was a nuisance throughout, allowing the young ones to have a right good go at us.
Of course, McInnes well on track for it. McNamara still has an outside shout depending on how the next few weeks go for United.
McCall deserves huge credit for getting the very best out of his squad since the cup low.
Two kids score for Killie while we bring on Fraser Kerr rather than Thomas or Erwin.
Evident today why Craig Reid was released from Morton. Schoolboy stuff.
That's been coming to be fair. Can't keep grinding out results with average performances, particularly when you're missing the workrate of Carswell and quality of McFadden.
Deserved 3 points for Killie, albeit Sutton missed 2 great chances. They overran our midfield in the 2nd half.
Poor tactical awareness from Reid to throw away a point.
It's a fair shout, really caught the eye in his 20 mins last week. Just think Aniers presence is more likely to unsettle a poor Killie defence.
Either of them are good options off the bench due to their pace and movement.
