Aye he came off the bench after Lethernan got sent off. Pretty much rules out any slight chance we had of getting him this month.

That was a good old fashioned game that got the juices flowing and nerves jangling. I thought we battled like fuck against a team that is superior to us. We scored good goals at good times and adopted a really streetwise approach go the game. Players ran themselves into the ground. Gutted to lose the almost inevitable equaliser but I'd have taken a point before the game given we were missing Ramsden and the recently improved Vigurs. Doubt the keeper will be able to look in the eyes of his team mates tonight. Absolute bombscare that the players and fans understandably have no confidence in.

Richard Gordon on Off the Ball, game in serious doubt.
-
He's certainly nowhere near the level of Twardzik. Despite his diminutive figure, he carries far more presence than Hollis/Neilson and instantly built up an understanding with his defence, something that Hollis/Neilson have yet to manage. I generally like a keeper to command his box but he's done enough to get a chance between now and end of season. Regarding Kello, I was surprised to see St Mirren hang on to him. One of the best keepers in the league.
-
Whatever the standard, it's a new experience for him. Unless you're looking to settle with your family in Scotland, 4 years in the SPL is more than enough when you've yet to reach your peak. Good luck to him.
-
Not worked out for Rooney down South but if he's still the player that impressed at Inverness, he's a 20 goal a season man. Very good signing by Aberdeen.
-
Keen to have Twardzik back at Fir Park but ideally until the end of the season, with a view to sussing out whether he is ready to be a competent first choice at our level. Will be interesting to hear McCalls views at the press conference.
-
Thing is Celtic are quite happy to see a non-existent away support. Real shame that majority of diehard travelling fans across Scotland have been driven to the decision to avoid seeing their team at Parkhead.
-
Experienced similar last time, sitting down the front getting stared at for 90mins. Horrible. If I was to ever witness us getting a result there, I'd go fucking mental.
-
When's the last time we were knocked out of cups back to back seasons by 3rd division teams? I jest of course. McCall has achieved phenomenal consistency that I never thought I would see from Motherwell. And the 2nd half of last season is as good a Motherwell team as I've seen.
-
Can't mind much about Aguero, was he in goals when we pumped them a few times last season? Doubt he'll be costing less than Twardzik. Wonder whether Dundee aren't for negotiating or McCall/Marshall think there are better options out there.
-
Fear Aberdeen will get the better of us but looking forward to it already. Few options for McCall to mull over this week in terms of shape and personnel. Having a competent keeper would be a huge boost. Hopefully see a bigger crowd that normal.
-
Played tidy at times so far but it's turning out to be the same old story. You've never got a genuine chance when you've got a flipping clown in goals. On both trips to Parkhead this season, poor goalkeeping has thrown the gameplan out the window. Get Twardzik back asap.
-
Trip there earlier this season will be my last for a while. Shame we'll travel along the M74 in small numbers given the run we are on and the supports we took to Firhill and Tynecastle. For those that do travel, hopefully the team has some genuine belief about them for a change and we have a right good go at them. A bit risky but I think I'd go with the attacking and flexible shape we played at Firhilll with Carswell at right back and ZFA on the left wing. Vigurs would need to put in a helluva shift though.
-
Big loss for the Celtic and Aberdeen games. Wonder if we'll be tempted to play Carswell at right back.
-
Reynolds will be in the next Scotland squad and I expect him to be a regular from now on.
-
Lasley is poty by a country mile at the moment.

Ramsden has turned into a fantastic signing for the club. Good footballer and given his injury record, I'm very impressed with his fitness. After a dip in form during Oct-Nov, Carswell has really kicked on again. Recently he's been getting into goalscoring positions and if he can start tucking away 1 or 2, he'll get more attention. In the meantime, John McGinn appears to be getting all the hype from the media.

Who was the boy that came through at the same time as Fagan? Kevin McDonald was it? Used to get pelters. Stevie Nicholas was another waste of money. -

What was the script with Daniel Sengewald again? Absolute stormer against Celtic but struggling to recall his other appearances. Meldrum, Dow, Christie, Forrest, May, John fucking Davies, Casagolda, Ange, McGlinchy and Graeme Miller would all be contenders for my team with Bobby Donnelly the captain. The Flask would be on the bench after seeing him getting sent off on a freezing night at Rugby Park. Ross and Fagan would be in there too if it wasn't for their goals against Celtic. -

Current two keepers are worse than Woods. Will always remember Kaven fondly for his clean sheet against Rangers. -
Faddy built on his performance from Firhill and generally pulled the strings from his preferred position. Tad wasteful in possession at times but he's back to beating players with ease and executing defence splitting passes. Him and Vigurs are showing signs of developing an understanding. While Sutton scored the winner, I think we'd have won more comfortably if we had Anier running in behind and making space for Faddy.
-
Would just love to see us go toe to toe with them and no be feart. Last trip to Parkhead was the latest in a long line of disheartening performances there. Wee bit of a selection headache for McCall. Is it feasible to leave out Sutton? McFadden is better suited to playing alongside Anier. Celtic should be suitably refreshed after their wee jolly to Turkey.
