  1. You do know that makes you less of a fan than those who buy a season ticket, right? Your opinions on this forum will therefore be less valid.
  2. Yeah, as I mentioned in another thread, this isn't a protest. At least not on my part. It's simply a case of waiting to see if the SPL is actually worth spending my hard earned cash on. If it turns out that special rules and allowances are made to certain clubs, then I'm done with it. I'll be there for our cup games and European games obviously, but the SPL league campaign will have lost its integrity in my eyes.
  3. I'll tell you what, if he did fancy a move to the likes of Celtic he could do worse than play with us for six months or so in order to prove his fitness. At this moment in time I don't see any big club taking a risk on him.
  4. Let me get this straight, MJC, are you saying that McFadden won't be coming back to us this summer? In the next few years? Or ever? Only a complete fucking idiot would state flat out that there's no chance of him ever coming back to play for Motherwell.
  5. There's no point in arguing, Jim. MJC has a history of making ridiculous claims and predictions.
  6. What reason did he have for investing in the Well society? Maybe he has a soft spot for the club. Did you ever think of that? I think there's a better than average chance that he'll finish his career at Fir Park.
  7. I wouldn't be so sure about that to be honest. I don't think he'll be back at Fir Park playing for us anytime soon, but I wouldn't bet against him coming back later on down the road.
  8. Because us season ticket holders are better than the average fan of course!
  9. The first of a few to resign with us hopefully.
  10. We could certainly look for £1 million for him, but I doubt we'd get anywhere near that. I'd consider £750,000 to be a great accomplishment. I certainly hope I'm wrong of course.
  11. An obvious question maybe, but did you check the club shop?
  12. Each season ticket holder should be entitled to one extra ticket when they buy their own for the game, no more.
  13. We'll be lucky to get half of that for him.
  14. I'm fairly certain that the powers that be wouldn't just pull up the turf for the sake of it. There must be a valid reason for doing it.
  15. If we can retain the services of Saunders, Hutchinson, Hammell, Clancy & Page we really don't need to strengthen in defence. Quinn would be a waste of money that could be better spent resigning players we already have to longer deals.
  16. Maybe that's why they didnae?
  17. It's looking more & more likely that I'll be renewing mines this week at some point. I'm going to put my faith in our board to do the right thing for the fans and our club. Keeping the majority of our squad together, and giving McCall some scope for a few new players wouldn't go amiss either.
  18. Murphy & Ojaama have looked good, but it'll all come down to who we play, what kind of result we're looking for from that particular game, and how the manager wants to play it. I'm just thankful we have the options (for now).
  19. If any of our players are seriously considering moving to Hearts they really need their heads examined. In fact, how many players have left us for another non-old firm Scottish club and gone on to do well? You also have to doubt that anyone would be willing to double the wages that the likes of Lasley is on, especially at his age. Unless it's Aberdeen, of course
  20. Yeah, I was of the opinion that I wouldn't be renewing my ticket if this Rangers scenario wasn't sorted, but it's becoming more difficult now. The renewal letter is calling to me from my office drawer.
  21. Either of those players going to Hearts will determine you buying a season ticket or not?

    Robert Jarvie

I didn't know the guy, but it's sad to hear, especially when it's one of our own. Thoughts go out to his family & friends.
  23. Bang on the money. If we get a wee glamour tie thrown in as well then all the better.
  24. The only thing that troubles me somewhat is the fact that we're still waiting to see who resigns with us for next season. We already have one player with 1st team experience quitting after this season, and we still have five players considering new deals. I'd maybe have waited to see who we have signing on again before starting to let players like Forbes, Halsman and Lawless go. I'm guessing the management team have plans in place though, so we'll see what happens.
  25. Is that a legit quote? He seriously walked away from a multi-million pound business deal because some punters called him a Yank and told him to go home?
