I'm fairly certain that the powers that be wouldn't just pull up the turf for the sake of it. There must be a valid reason for doing it.

If we can retain the services of Saunders, Hutchinson, Hammell, Clancy & Page we really don't need to strengthen in defence. Quinn would be a waste of money that could be better spent resigning players we already have to longer deals.

It's looking more & more likely that I'll be renewing mines this week at some point. I'm going to put my faith in our board to do the right thing for the fans and our club. Keeping the majority of our squad together, and giving McCall some scope for a few new players wouldn't go amiss either.

Murphy & Ojaama have looked good, but it'll all come down to who we play, what kind of result we're looking for from that particular game, and how the manager wants to play it. I'm just thankful we have the options (for now).

If any of our players are seriously considering moving to Hearts they really need their heads examined. In fact, how many players have left us for another non-old firm Scottish club and gone on to do well? You also have to doubt that anyone would be willing to double the wages that the likes of Lasley is on, especially at his age. Unless it's Aberdeen, of course

Yeah, I was of the opinion that I wouldn't be renewing my ticket if this Rangers scenario wasn't sorted, but it's becoming more difficult now. The renewal letter is calling to me from my office drawer.

The only thing that troubles me somewhat is the fact that we're still waiting to see who resigns with us for next season. We already have one player with 1st team experience quitting after this season, and we still have five players considering new deals. I'd maybe have waited to see who we have signing on again before starting to let players like Forbes, Halsman and Lawless go. I'm guessing the management team have plans in place though, so we'll see what happens.

Is that a legit quote? He seriously walked away from a multi-million pound business deal because some punters called him a Yank and told him to go home?

It looks as though Randoph hasn't made the Ireland squad for Euro 2012, but he has been listed as a stand-by player. They chose to go with Shay Given, Keiren Westwood, and David Forde.

Trying to keep both Hammell & Lasley is a no-brainer really. I was saying that if it came down to a choice between Craigan for another season or Clancy, it would be Clancy all day long as far as I'm concerned.

Does anyone else see the problem with giving a NEWCO the boot, then asking for lowering of ticket prices? Combining both simply isn't an option.

His recent performances on TV & radio suggest he's greasing the wheels to join the "in crowd" we have in the Scottish media. He's been a great servant to the club, and I love him as a player, but I have a feeling my respect for him is going to take a hit every time he appears on the telly or radio over the coming years. If it came down to offering him another year or tying up Clancy, I'd take Clancy every time.
