Baraclough in the press conference today saying he is looking to bring in another 5 or 6 to give us a first team squad of c 20 players. Still speaking to Skippy. Wouldn't rule out bringing back Laing or Long. So for me that shopping list needs to be - Goalie, Centre half or 2, Couple of strikers and maybe a midfielder for cover. That would give us a couple of players in each position

Wingers have great games and off games - he just needs to turn more of the off games into great games and improve his defending/work rate He has scored 20 goals and provided 20 assists over 2 seasons where he has probably only performed well in,what, half of each of those seasons? Imagine what we could have if he even upped that just a little bit more. From his interview he seemed happy with the way the manager had set out the team an mentioned enjoying playing with Johnson on the other flank. Seemed a happy camper.

I will be happy with Laing signing. Became steadier as the season progressed and that I think in part seems to with forming a good relationship with McManus and playing together. Tendency to throw a bomb scare tackle/header all the same but the more time he gets the tendency will lessen I think (hope). Sounds like we will be signing Long and Ainsworth then also - maybe just not today wellfan10?

If we sign someone from QOS, Queens Park, Live etc with potential can we take bets now on who the first poster will be to say something like "expecting better than that", "if we are signing players from the lower leagues then thats where we will end up", "if this is the type of player we are signing we better be ready for a relegation fight again"?! For one, I am all for it but not everyone will be on board with it
