Just a perk of having a season ticket I suppose. -

Aye, bit annoyed about that. Me and my dad wanted to go to Ibrox, season ticket holders, go to every away game...blah blah etc. But due to not checking my phone during the day today totally missed out! -

He is fit. No need to worry. -
That was murder. Starting team: Watt, Twardzik were positives. The rest average to poor. Sub's: Law, OB did fine. Leitch didn't impress.
-
A lot of changes indeed! Must be valuing the rest over keeping them ticking over.
-
Aye, they mentioned he was there during Sportsound. Apparently there in a club capacity as Bara and co can't be there. Decent use of an experienced player who is looking to get into coaching etc if he wasn't going to be playing anyway.

I wouldn't shake it up too much but probably go Dan Ramsden OB Mc Hammy Las Ainsworth Pearo Thomas Sutton Skippy

Mon' back pal.. https://www.clubcall.com/birmingham-city/randolph-leaving-blues-1770177.html?

That's my thoughts exactly. It says on the site you need to contact them to be put on the list...so it is the players themselves or their agents. Lawson, McHugh and Sutton have been added since Vigurs, Ramsden and Carswell initially appeared this time last week.

Not too sure I like this all going public this way...seems a bit disjointed. None of them so far are surprises to be not getting a new contract but still....

Exactly this The guy has been clear from the offset the money he puts in is with the view of making the club self sustaining in 5 years. To his credit he has fired in a million and not expecting any interest on that. The club have to pay it back to him, hopefully within 5 years as per his original deal. He is setting us up to succeed long term and only been here since February! We won't get a much better deal with an owner than that other than someone giving us a blank chequebook and heading back to Barbados! I am sure the business plan will be adjusted if they realise it's not going to succeed but the hard talking, for me, is needed to try and make some people realise the situation we are in as a club and that this isn't free money that will keep being dripfed to us. Yes, the season ticket comment was maybe a little ill judged/cheeky but at the end of the day there is a balance to be struck between forecasting who will buy a ticket at the same price v lowering it and not getting many more than if we didn't v long term view of increasing fanbase. Proof will be in the pudding I guess.

I would take Hibs or Rangers. From when we played Rangers in 2012 in the league cup only Lasley, Hammell are realistically going to Starr. Ramsden was unused so can't really be blamed. Kerr nor ZFA will start. So, it's a totally different team with a totally different management team. There should be no reason for the team to shite it. The only real constant here is..us...the fans.

Mark Brown. Nah. Jamie MacDonald. Aye. Derek Gaston of Albion Rovers and Morton fame? Seen him a few times the flesh. Nah.
-
He never shared his reasoning but the club were reported to be disappointed. So says articles on the BBC from that time anyway.

Season Tickets 2015/16 *** Topics Merged ***
superward replied to Toxteth O'Grady's topic in Club Chat
I will renew whether we are in the top division or not but I was little surprised to see the price announcement before we know where we will be next season. If we go down I reckon majority would renew. Sure we will lost a small amount though. -
Aye - let's not get bogged down it (although I did!). A good positive interview!
-
Agree with this 100% Pearson does a lot of work for the team, a lot of running, breaking up and some of the forward passes he makes (take note Lasley) change the game in an instant. Not been a 10/10 every game but very solid. Not honking.
-
If its a sciatic/back issue it could very well be. Might be why he failed the medical Oldham before we got him.
-
Aye this for me. It will be a Baraclough team next season that's for sure. I think he will be looking for a first team goalie, centre back, winger, striker for sure. Probably a few more squad players for competition. Vigurs is interesting - Baraclough has never seen him play so I wonder if its a club or player decision.
-
I think Erwin will sign up. No bother. Can't see Bara wanting to keep the majority of our out of contract players if he has already let Vigurs, Lawson, Carswell and Ramsden know they won't get a deal. Not my choices but I reckon Barra could offer: Sutton - as an experienced hard working player (see recent daily record article about pairing up young players with experienced squad members) but probably not going to guarantee him a start. Ainsworth - I think he can see his qualities so may want to work on the negatives in his game. Law - He has played him a lot so I think he will offer a deal. Maybe Kerr as a backup/squad player. That's probably about it.
-
Interesting that those 3 are on the PFA website but others aren't. I don't think all the others will have been offered new deals.
-
Sums aside. Good to know if we do go down the budget does not need to be cut. Probably down to both parachute payment and a bit more investment from him.
-
I can't get the sums to work either. If its from when Bara came in: Pre Bara we were 16 league games, 13pts = 0.8 per game Post Bara we are 20 league games, 24pts = 1.2 per game Les came in officially 30th Jan Since then 13 league games, 18pts = 1.38 per gane Carrying Bara's stats over a games we would be projected on 43 pts. Carrying stats since les came I projected would be 50pts.
