Marvin signed an 18 month deal. It was Nathan Thomas we had year option with (initial deal of 6 months).

Scored a couple of goals going by the stats for Albion from Jan onwards. 5 in the u20's in the first half of the season. Does anyone know if he was operating as a midfielder or fullback? Thomas signed up around same time as Watt too.

I think the decisiosn on the squad are fair enough and probably what we expected. Will be a good freshen up to the place come August. Few comments: Skippy - Clearly would love him to stay. But, always made it pretty clear he was only here for the short term and he did very well. He mentioned early on another go in England or back to Oz. Apparently Wigan are in for him. Sutton - Thought he would be off but as many have said, if we set up the team to benefit him he will get us goals. Happy enough if he signs up. Erwin - Clearly would love to keep him. But, we'll see I suppose. Ainsworth - Again, would love to keep him. Hopefully he is settled and stays. The loanees - Laing I would like to see back. Grant also. Long, if he can perform like he did in the Rangers games, I would welcome back BUT I would like us to also be looking around elsewhere for better options. The others - For various reasons, time for them to move on I reckon.

From what the office staff were saying yesterday, when I was in getting my ticket, the players who haven't sorted their future are in this week to discuss it. Some were in yesterday. Hopefully hear something soon

Laing can be rash, yes, and I don't think yesterday was his best game. But there is enough there to work with that he could be a superb player. If he plays more games like the one he did at Ibrox then that would do nicely

I would like to see us keep Ainsworth and Laing - fairly realistic I think. Erwin I would like but could be tough to keep now. Would love to keep Skippy but think he mentioned another go at England or back to Oz. The rest out of contract I could take or leave...depends who else is out there. I do not want to see Straker back though.
