  1. Everybody looked match fit to me. Just not as good and didn't win any individual battles. McManus picked up the injury from a challenge where he was down after it for a good few seconds then hobbling about.
  2. He's used all 3 subs in 8 of the last 10 matches. The 2 games he hasn't were the two we won. I'm not his biggest fan currently either but ye cannae just make stuff up.
  3. With our budget restraints and insistence to go with a budget assuming no cup runs and finishing 10th (said previously I wasnt a fan of the approach but it is what it is...) we will be really restricted to what we do in January. I don't foresee much change unfortunately. However in an ideal world I would back much of what you say Kmcalpin.
  4. McManus seemed a bit shocked but wasnt in a big huff or anything. I actually just saw him up Uddingston M&S and he was limping about a bit.
  5. Tait is taking the position I would expect him to take. But Heneghan can't be absolved of blame either. The ball then conveniently drops to an unmarked Dons player standing in midfield. Total fuck up of a pass/clearance and marking even if it was a poor pass from Samson to start it all. Samson for the second though. Fuck me. If Brill doesn't deserve a chance now then he will never get it. The third...we were pushing and playing 3 at the back. Any loose pass , like Lucas played, is always going to be a risk with the pace they have V us. However a few of our players seemed to think it was a done deal and couldnt be fucked defending it. Best thing about that goal was someone giving McManus in the neck when he wasn't even know the park. Haha.
  6. It was a very frustrating game as I said last night. But as poor as we played we could have came away with a draw quite easily. Individual mistakes cost us dearly. not glossing over the many negatives but that's basically the upside of it. Ya Bezzer is right in that we are just lacking in many areas and that includes confidence.I don't think we are far away but it needs to click soon.
  7. Thoroughly frustrating that. Not good enough and didn't get close or fight enough for the second balls. Unforgivable mistakes for all 3 goals. On the other hand had we scored the penalty etc.
  8. Condition over head and under foot more than fine. Will be good for the 30 of us here. Mon eh well!
  9. It'll be fine. Proper Scottish hoofball and big slideys. Smashing. Anyway, on the actual game. I think we will do it tonight...it's a good time to get Aberdeen as a few have already mentioned. Read a few fan opinions that their weakness is in the middle of the park which could suit us nicely like it did v Ross County. Would like to see a 4-4-2 but given comments from he manager think we may see something different. 2-0. Clean sheet.
  10. Wind is to drop in half for most of the game and it's heavy showers at best throughout. A lot of softies on here. Lucky the game is on telly after all. I'd wager real money by the time we play our next home game it will be absolutely fine...
  11. Aye - the official Twitter is saying it's 'dry' and playable as it stands. It's been cored and left open to deal with the rain today. A couple of years ago this game would have already been off what with the rain already fallen and due to fall before the game! Massive props to the groundsman for the turnaround. Hopefully things don't get worse than expected today with rain or indeed the wind and we have a game to go to later.
  12. what do we reckon to the game tomorrow? Any risk of it being called off? Looks like pretty much heavy rain and crazy wind all day tomorrow but calming down a bit about 7pm. Either way the floating home fans and away attendance will take a further bump I fear.
  13. Craggs does seem to be doing well and all power to him and the academy beneath that. Great to see. Cannae stand his interviews though. Murder
  14. Unless someone here provides some names and evidence then on a message board I guess we will never know. ;-)
  15. Pearo won the the ISL last night with Atletico De Kolkata beating his old team Kerala Blasters. Had to settle for a place on the bench though and didn't get on. 11 appearances and 2 goals to his name though. Not sure when his contract is up. But if it's now then let the rumours commence.
  16. At least it's not Xmas Eve like it was meant to be. That truly is a shambles! Actually suits me fine. Go to the game and then out for a few Xmas lagers.
  17. I'd have taken a point, always hoping for 3, before we arrived. So happy enough with the fact we got one. If we can not lose the majority of matches between now and year end I will probably be quite content. But I really hope we can string together a few wins with a system and team that is consistent. Hoping McHugh is the key in that puzzle on return and McLean can nail down the left midfield berth leaving McDonald and Moult to do what they do best up front and not dropping wide or deep.
  18. You can see the stadium from thoae streets. They look right over the motorway and up to the stadium and high flats
  19. I'd be very very surprised if he goes to Rangers or Celtic. He's a well advised lad. I think any move is too early right now to be honest. He will keep improving window to window and if stays fit I could see some decent bids in the summer. He will still be a Well player in Feb unless we get an exceptional bid.
  20. Absolutely right. It's offer we cant refuse territory for Cadden in the next 2 windows I would say no matter the suitor. I also can't see him sticking a transfer request in to go to an Oxford. Great position to be in.
  21. It's basically the teams who are represented in the working group. The Falkirk (Forth Valley) rep is now working for Rangers, however. Something I did see in the Malky MacKay press conference today was talk of the 'most successfully academies of recent times' being the one's that were funded moving forward. I am paraphrasing but that was the jist. Read into that what you will but taking that and the fact they will need a geographical spread it's going to be hard to be included...
  22. Not that I want to see him go but if he is a good professional with his head screwed on, which he appears to be, he will sign for the best team for him at that time...no matter who they are.
