I reckon we must be citing the Kiernan tackle as to why McDonald's red should be rescinded. -

Aye - I can't quite see McGhee making changes like that and it would be a risk. But something needs to change. The team is just so flat, one paced and predictable without McDonald. Only slightly less so with him! -

Think it's 2 for violent conduct. For Tuesday I'd make a couple of changes in an attempt to shake things up a bit in the absence of McDonald to get some creativity flowing. Wether the players we have could tactically cope with this with little to no prep time I don't know.... Samson Tait Heneghan McManus Hammell McHugh Lasley Ainsworth Cadden Frear Moult McManus and Hammell are on a shoogly peg. But I wouldn't advocate wholesale changes. Lasley in if fit. -
Glad to see everyone has taken a breath after the game today. Haha.

He was fairly upbeat about the game on Sportsound -
I for one couldn't give a fuck about it. If you do, fair enough, but there are plenty other things to worry about.

Happy Chinese New Year mate

You're at it. I've already decided Frear is the next Faddy

Not for me to be honest. Didn't really set the heather alight in hs last loan move.

Scottish Cup - Fourth Round Rangers V Motherwell Sat 21 Jan 12:30

We don't know the absolute details like a few have mentioned (well I am sure one or two of us on here do....:-)). But whether it was the club who let Skippy not come to training, or Skippy who refused to train....it's a shambles of a situation in the lead up to a huge cup game. If he had been training all week he would have started and that would have made a big difference. I expect better of a senior, very experienced, player. He should be dealing with a move in the background and getting on with training and preparing with the rest of the team. Like a professional should. I also expect better of the club to either not be strong-armed into a position before a big game...or being so flexible that they suggest or let a player not train who is fit in the week before a big game like this. Anyway.....it's in the past. So, if McDonald is focussed for the rest of the season then fine. But, it leaves a sour taste in the mouth and big case of 'what if' -

http://www.eveningtimes.co.uk/sport/spfl/15051665.Scott_McDonald_left_out_of_Motherwell_team_at_Rangers_because___39_head_was_all_over_the_place__39___says_Mark_McGhee So there you have it. The week before the cup game a key player doesn't train all week as he is waiting by the phone and speaking to people. How professional of everyone involved. Fuck sake. -
Good signing on the face of it. 50 assists over 2 and a half seasons is not to be sniffed at even at conference level. Hopefully he performs. Got my backing anyway.

I agree with the sentiment and in an ideal world everyone who is lapsed or comes occasionally would take the advice. But in reality it won't happen so we (as a club and as a whole) need to address the other issues to help. For me - couldn't agree more on the feeling part. It's why I renew my season ticket every year and continue to be at games no matter what the previous week dished up. -

They are well beatable. Saturday was gutting but it also showed again this season if we see out 90 mins focussed and no silly mistakes we can beat them fine. -
They both don't fill me with glee when I listen. Craigan as the manager though would be alright in my book come the day.
-
I've said it before but Craigan's interviews make me want to poke my eyes out. Murder.

I get the jist of your argument here. But, it's churlish and simplistic to just cast to the side Burn_Broomfield's comment. If you are just having a bit of a rant at your perception of our fanbase then that's fine and I am not saying your not entitled to do that. But, the reality is people have stopped coming to football for the reason Burn_Broomfield mentions (as well as many other competing priorities, entertainment or sporting choices). Whether you agree that that's what a 'fan' should or should not be doing is by the by really for improving things in the future. It's happening and it's happening not just at Fir Park. Shouting at people saying you should be coming no matter what and if you don't then your part of the problem isn't the way to go about getting people coming back. We saw how the threats of Les worked and were responded to.... As for the deal - from the other side - no club or league system has the divine right to bums on seats from anyone either which is what it sounds you think should happen. -
Should be inclusive for all clubs or no clubs in my opinion. I don't really have a problem with it to be honest.

He's just had to delete his Twitter because someone pulled up a tweet from 2012 saying 'C'mon Hibs. I hate Aberdeen. #sheepshaggingcunts' Haha. Great start.

Devil will be in the detail. For me the main questions are (and only due to lack of publicly available knowledge): Is it max of 16 and all on a level playing field? Or is it an elite 8 and a second grouping of a 'less-elite' 8? Is that 16 set in stone. Can clubs outside of the 16 aspire to be included or is it a closed shop until someone decides to drop out of their own accord? What is the qualifying criteria to get in to this group of 16? For example, like Alan seemed to refer to...Will we have less 'points' as we known less young players out but, arguably, have more youth products playing first team football this season compared to others

I read that earlier on another news page. He doesn't go as far as saying what the headline claims but still it seems unlikely he is going anywhere.

On Sky Sports News today, bid accepted in the region of £1m. Good business and a bit unexpected I would imagine!

Nice one Jay - a good appointment.

5 in 8 games against them 8 think he is. Sure someone will have the older stats.
