Playing to their strengths for so long let us down. It was working OK but as soon as the deflected goal went in the whole system is gubbed. Always a chance something like that can happen. Moult and Bowman wasted dropping back wide and not yet played like that enough to play it properly. For example Moult out wide and about to play a cross in should have seen Bowman in tight with McDonald in the box waiting. But Bowman was still out wide and left Skippy isolated. Some decent play in there. So even though we conceded 3 I am not totally disheartened.

The problem is that has came down to semantics and lack of adequate rules to make any sort of real decision. The clubs themselves voted against strict liability. So if the clubs aren't responsible in this instance for the organisation of fans, stewards policing etc then they can't really be prosecuted for anything in simple terms. The SFA could charge the SFA with something. Fine themselves then pay it off though... If Rangers want something done to Hibs then they need to lobby all their friends at the other clubs and get the rules changed... The best that can come out of this is that the stewarding and policing plans are improved and Rangers continue to release statements upon more statements..

In regards Moult - it's always a tough one when injuries are such that the player isn't completely incapacitated and declares himself fit. Sometimes the gamble pays off and sometimes it does not. He took injections to play waiting for thr op as it wouldn't make it any worse. Scored a couple at Annan...Probably worked out. Worked against Hamilton. Probably not at Thistle... As for Clay. It reminds me much of Johnson at first. He was done after an hour for a good while after when we signed him. Took him a good 2 or 3 months to get his match fitness up to last near 90. Clay needs game time to get there but it will come. All depends on the individual player - Moult made the step up in fitness quickly, as has Tait. Johnson took time and it looks like Clay will. Faddy does look overweight. But when does he actually train if he is taking training? Skippy and Hammell like you say have always carried a bit of weight. If only they had the body, work ethic and metabolism of Las!

I don't particularly fear Hearts even though they are in 3rd and the press are starting to talk them up a bit. Last 2 games - drew with County and lost to St Johnstone. 3 wins this season have came against Inverness, Thistle and Accies. All bottom 6 currently. They will play a standard 4-4-2. I would like to see an attacking line up and force them to change it first like Accies had to do.

2 games in a row we have had a goal disallowed incorrectly. Hopefully that's our quota used up for a while!

Thomas needs to impress any chance he gets and he hasn't really done that. Wether it's 15 mins or 100 mins he has played. I am a big fan but I am a bit worried he isn't going to get it unless he gets out on loan. Worked for Cadden.
