Yep agreed and said as much in my original comment as well. I think the setup was sound enough and I, along with quite a number of others agreed pretty much that 1 up top with a supporting midfield would be best. But the more the game went on the more we got caught in the 4-5-1 rather than 4-3-3/4-2-3-1. Then when they scored we were stuck in it.

I thought the setup was fine starting out. We had to nullify Caley Thistle and stop them playing around us. Which we did most of the time bar a few passages of play in the first half. We had most of the gane up until their goal. What didn't work well was Johnson and Cadden didn't play close enough to McDonald. So rather than it be a 4-3-2-1/4-3-3 it turned into a 4-5-1 with limited chances. We did leave it too long to change it and even when we scored the equaliser we should have went ahead with the change rather than wait I think.

In a way it doesn't surprise me. He takes ages over these decisions every time! More than happy to have him back to the end of the season.

I am not even talking about the bois personally as I can't really tell who makes up that group and who does not. Just a general wondering about why do our fans (probably say the same about other clubs fans?) seem to get in more bother away from home
-
I am sure those who get stuck into it before a home game do the same for an away game? Bit more so if there is a bus/train journey I guess?

Not getting in to the debate as its been done so many times. Bur clearly incidents happen for different reasons. Out of interest, are our fans better behaved at home than at away grounds? Or is it the same? What do people think? If the same do we have a better understanding with stewards etc at home so get pulled up for things we wouldn't at fir park? If we are worse behaved then what is the driver for that? Genuine questions.

I missed a few last season due to bloody wedding's and stags. Everyone is married now thankfully.

Moult, from what I have seen so far, I think might be similar to Sutton in that he will score his goals in patches rather than consistently. However he does bring a lot more to the team than big John in my opinion.

True. Everyone put the pitchforks down and step back from the abyss. Haha. As for the game...think I would maybe go 4-3-2-1. Ripley Law Hall McManus Hammersmith Gomis Lasley Pearson Ainsworth Johnson (as wingers, not behind the striker) Skippy Wasn't for changing the 442 but that seems to be not really working.

A pellet with a smoke pellet. Don't agree with anybody bringing them in or using them. But, let's fill our prisons with the real baddies.

It's so so tight that we need to be fully focused that we are in a fight to stay out the playoffs. No room for complacency or lack of fight. As the manager has said...a couple of wins things start to look rosey, but a couple of losses and not so much. It would take a major collapse (extended collapse?) and Dundee Utd to suddenly start winning for the bottom spot to overly worry me. I cant see them doing that. Inverness, Accies and Thistle are all very much involved in this fight too.

Crikey...not often you read that and also what goes on in the dressing room. Very honest and I kind of. like that. http://www.scotsman.com/sport/football/competitions/premiership/lionel-ainsworth-in-tears-over-blame-for-motherwell-defeat-1-4020480? To be fair McGhee does not go all out and blame him but it is thinly veiled like said above. Ainsworth in my opinion has been great for us with his goals and assists. Hopefully McGhee can get him playing well at what he does well and this does not alienate him.

5 months is mental for this. Aye he broke the law...but 5 months in the pokie! Crazy.

I think Lawless is decent but I wouldn't have him up as 1 of the best in the last 10 years. His best season for Partick was his first when they were in the Championship.

Yeah that could be what happened. Would have expected a booking for Marv though. Looked a stick on to me but the manager said otherwise so I guess not.
