Our 8 pre split games are made up of: Next 5: Dundee Utd x 2, Thistle, Accies, St Johnstone Last 3 before split: Celtic, Aberdeen, Inverness Very important run of games those 5...we really need to be picking up wins during thrm and if we don't it could leave us in a very prickly position (both in league and mentally) going in to 3 very hard games pre split.

I don't mind McGhee either. A lot of the time he is right and people just don't like the brashness of it. However when he gets it wrong his arrogance/utter self belief does grate. Hearts he completely fucked it but the majority of other problems recently have been down to player mistakes and brain collapses.....not tactics.

Ripley Law Hall Kennedy Hammell Johnson Gomis Pearo Faddy Skippy Moult Hall in for Kennedy if fit. In most games Kennedy (like Laing) plays ok but then does dives in a lot and makes bad decisions which puts pressure on the defence as inevitably a gap is then left. Hall keeps it far more simple, maybe due to having played less games, but he looks more solid. Rest the same. Faddy in to play behind the strikers. If he is good enough for a deal again I want to see him start and prove it (I am not 100% convinced myself). We need something a bit different to spark us and I would give it a go. If not working change it early.

For the second one Kennedy ends up about the half way line making a tackle he does the need to make. Misses it and is out of position.

Just watched the goals. Hammell should not be letting that boy have any space at the back post for the first. Poor stuff. Kennedy well out of position trying to make a tackle up near the half way line for the second and the Killie player just wandered through the gap. Murder. Both very avoidable.

You probably posted this about the exact time they released the YouTube video where McGhee says Faddy is definitely not going abroad and they hope to get him to end of season. He also mentioned still looking at free agents and may get a couple in to training to have a look at. Also mentioned we didn't 'miss out' on Higdon. Was merely on a list and quickly ruled out due to the transfer rules.
