I thought he was doing well and was a bit of a fans' favourite. Or has that changed? As for Watt, he stood out in the last game against Celtic and would do a good job for us and we would just have to accept he couldn't play against them if it benefitted us in the others. If our youngsters are good enough they'll make their mark as subs or occasional appearances.

Halving his wages would only take him back to what he was onppreviously at Motherwell and I can't see us or Thistle wanting to pay more than that. Aberdeen would probably be the only club who could pay more.

I remember when we used to aspire to mediocrity! I'm sure the signings will come and we probably won't have heard of most of them.

Sutton left to double his wages so I'm sure I he'll be released but might not fancy the wage cut. He did get offers from clubs in England but didn't want to uproot his young family so it probably would depend what he wants more.

According to the BBC, Hearts can't sell him as he is still registered with Liverpool.
