Just read in the Record that McGhee is trying to bring in Mo Camara from St Mirren before Saturday - I would suggest the odds on a 'Well win would be shortened in that came off!!

Can anyone confirm when the transfer window will close? I know it's usually the 31st August - but just saw a trailer for SSN and it's saying deadline day is Tuesday 1st September. I'm guessing this is because 31st August is an English bank holiday. Does anyone know how this affects us - would we be stuck to 31st Aug??

After watching last nights game - Ruddy - He'll do for us, kicking could be better but is commanding and much better than Fraser. Jennings - Still looks short of fitness and came across as a poor mans Neil Lennon with square balls all the time. Humphrey - Obviously has pace but needs to get beyond and get a cross in - will be interesting to see how he copes with the bullies in the SPL. Coke - Looked good and cruised through first half. Would like to see him get forward more. One thing I did note was he might be a little lippy having a go at the refs if he disagrees and given the refs in the SPL he may pick up a few un-needed cards.

Heard that Las has a knock and Humphrey has a hamstring problem. I know Las didn't play in Romania anyway but what do we think the line up will be?

Interesting topic. I heard from a strong source at the weekend that our new boss is indeed overhauling the youth set up. He has already started bringing in a new team. One long serving guy who previously had his own youth set up externally is close to leaving. However this could be what Gording Young was planning all along as this is his first real chance to make changes. We have all heard about Gannon's record at giving youth a chance - do we know if he has a record of setting up decent youth systems to bring them through from 13/14 onwards?
