Usually sit in the DC but won tickets for the Phil for Saturday. Padded seat yes but knees at my chest whole game. Some twat behind who thought he was Sir Alex and bith rows in front were filled with ex-players who all got up and left 15mins from time left it very bloddy drafty!! Glad I didn't pay for the seat - kept looking across at my empty seats in the DC and wishing I was there!!!

No but my point is he deserved the chance. I think Big C did well and was impressed but I'd still rather play a guy who we have on a longer term contract and is a proven scorer at this level!

Sutton's face when Sheridan got the call at half time told the story.... he couldn't believe what was going on and who can blame him. He scored 2 on Monday what more does he have to do!!

St Midden have just signed Rep of Ire left back Ian Harte. MM needs to get message across that we don't give silly free-kicks away around the box as this guys does have a decent record of scoring fine goals!! Never know this may also entice along a few more buddies.

Just to back up my own post it appears that both heaters for the bubble had faults. These faults were fixed late yesterday and the bubble is up and working. There is a doubt over the pitch but should be ok so long as no further faults develop.

Germany under 19 winger. Their other winger joined West Ham for £9m, hope this guys half as good. Last young winger to head north on loan from Birmingham was Aluko he did not to bad for the Dons last year. It is progress!

He was a name that came to mind after MM's comments on picking up the phone. But with Killen going out I thought Celtic would only let another go if they got Fletcher. Give the boy a chance he has SPL experience and has scored at this level. He will add depth to the squad with cover style wise for Sutton. Any player that pulls on the C&A deserves to be given our backing.

... or truths have to be told. Has JB tied MM's hands when it comes to transfers. Why is money so tight? Is it because we're only getting 4500 bums on seats and that isn't enough to cover the costs. Ever thought it may not all be down to McGhee??

This new approach does give me some hope for the future. It looks as though MMG is planning for next season and this can only be good news. Even if Buzz does go in the summer, for once we will have a plan B in place and not be searching round at the last minute. Praise where praise is due Mr McGhee.

Read a quote from Porter in today's papers. Said something along the lines of - 'Not sure what will happen but I'm English and my family are still down there.' To me he wants to be closer to home and you can't blame him. If anyone had the choice of earning at least the same of more money closer to home you would take it. The only reason anyone would take a job far from home would be for big bucks that you couldn't earn near home. If / when he goes I'd just say ' THANK YOU CHRIS!!'

I think big Ports is great and would love him to stay but we need to be realistic. The guy could play at a higher level and we can't match the wages from even the bottom end of the championship. We cannot afford to turn down a decent offer as without transfer cash MM will have no room to bring players in. We do have another goalscorer who could already come in for Ports. We know Ports and Suttom cannot play together but surely Sutton was brought in by MM knowing that the chances were that Ports would move on come now. He must have been brought in as Ports replacement and has therefore had time to settle into the club with no immediate pressure to match Ports goals from last season. SO - I would say a huge thanks to Porter and take the cash, give Sutton a run in the team and look to strengthen elsewhere. If my theory is correct MM should be applauded for such planning!

Saw this being put in place last week while at FP with the wee man. Looks like quite a bit of kit hope it does the job. Should be given it's been on since 31st Dec - Must be costly though. Should we pray for a mild snap so that we can afford maybe a loan signing!!

On interview on Real Radio this morning he mentioned 'some swaps' that suggests more than 1!! I do agree though that swaps seem strange given the lack of depth in our squad. I would rather give more youngsters a chance than bring in expensive loans. Slane looked good pre-season. McHugh looked good at end of last season v Hibs. Saunders hasn't done anything wrong and Hutchison has had good reviews. Also looks like Cowie has signed a pre-contract with Utd and Black a pre-contract with FHW. Shame but doubt we could have matched thier wages without trimming our wage bill

I heard MM's interview on the radio this morning. I was struck by the mention of looking to get maybe a few loans in and do some swaps!! So if we are looking to swap who do you think will be heading out and where to? A few ideas to start things off - purely based on previous rumours and 2+2=5! Darren Smith for McCallister of Morton Kenny Connolly for McKay or Davidson at Livi Any more??

They have McGregor & Alexander as no 1 & 2 and then Smith currently as no 3. If they bring in Howard then Smith would be sold!

Read in one of the papers that Rangers are looking at Mark Howard of St Mirren as a possible no 3 keeper. If Buzz does want to move on could we replace him with another Smith from Rangers?

Also add to that the rants and abuse dished out by Heggarty when he was assistant - that did bugger all to help the team!!
