On saturday the choice was to bring on Fizzy and then when he got injured we brought on Saunders at the back with hatley going into mid. So who will it be?? Forbes or Hatley or McGlinchey I think we need to keep Hatley at the back and while I rate Forbes I think he needs to develop some pace to play at a good level.

Despite all there problems looks like the Jambos are building a squad for next season with pre-contracts. I have a concern that with a lack of clarity on our manager going forward we will struggle to secure commitments from new or existing players.

You havin a laugh?? I wouldn't play Craigan in our first team! I'm sure wee Gus would love to have Reynolds, Hammel, Forbes, Coke and Sutton in his team. Not much between the goalies, and apart from Dorman and Mehmet I don't rate anyone else in their team.

Let's be honest Faddy was a one-off Every other young player goes through what Jamie is, they have 2 seasons of showing promise and then hit a bit of a wall and it's how they respond that marks out their career. Look back at Clarky, hit the first team with a bang and then how many would have showed him the door a few seasons back? but he responded and earned his next move up. Look even at Reynolds, many had him down as EPL class and then had some tough times last year but has started much better this season and will grow. We need to support Jamie. I think he must be very frustrated he has been seen as the next biggie and then the likes of Forbes, Hutch, Saunders & Slane have come through and taken the press spotlight. Jamie has the potential to improve and I'm sure under Gannon he will given time. I'm sure that next season or the season after we'll be having the same discusssions about Slane or Forbes or McHugh or the next Faddy!

Agree- I think with Craggs having played 2 high profile high intensity games in the last week he should be given a 'rest'. He also shouldn't see this as being dropped - it is great that we are in a position where we have depth in the squad that can be trusted to come in for this game. I think Hutch & Reynolds would do well in this game if they come against the physicality of Boyd and pace of Miller. Will also be interesting to see how our new French boy goes against theirs.

Usually take P&B with a pich of salt - however.... there is a 'Well fan on there saying 2 signings are due shortly - 1 on loan from the Championship and 1 from SFL Div 1. How about Callum Woods RB from Dunfermline? or the boy Buchanon from the jags as mentioned last week?

I'm also starting to think this might have a lot to do with finance. Assuming Hammell was on a better wage when he came back than when he left, he must be one of the highest earners and maybe JG feels the money could be used to bring in another 2 more versatile players.

BBC have story just added tha Klimps has signed 3 year deal at Dundee - no mention as yet of Hammell joining them.

Interested to hear other 'Well fans views on this one. I think Stevie is the better left back. He is much better at making over-lapping runs and delivering balls into the box. He does make the odd defensive mistake but is also good at covering across when other teams break forward. Reynolds is good in the air and calm under pressure but I just feel that JG doesn't quite know where to play him. I know he likes players who can play various positions but at the moment to me it looks like Reynolds must play no matter where. Take Saturday as an example with Hutch injured was JG saying that Saunders was a better centre back than Reynolds surely not - we should have gone Saunders-Craggs-Reynolds-Hammell. I think Stevie has been hard done to so far this season but still has tonnes to offer us!

not convinced by the proposed right back. Would a 18 year old with no experience from Stockport really be better than Saunders?

Just on Humphrey, I think we need to give the boy time to settle in. He is young and has just moved to a new league. Some of the abuse I heard for him when sitting in the DC on Saturday was out of order. The boy has talent but looks like he needs confidence to get going.
