I don't agree that we're hopeless at both ends. There are only 3 teams who've scored more goals than us, we've failed to score in just one league game and clearly haven't struggled to take the lead. But there's no way we can rely on scoring 3 or more goals to win a game.

I thought he looked fine with it up until he gave away the shy that led to the goal, and that would have been forgotten about if they hadn't scored. If Oxborough gets a chance, we'll see how he is with it, because the system won't change. Neither of them are the manager's signings, obviously, so he might well be looking for a new keeper long term.

The keeper has to be involved in playing it out from the back, which is integral to how this team is set up. What's the alternative - launching it up to who?

He's watching the same game as you, but he doesn't have the freedom to publicly state what he actually thinks in the same way you do. You can't expect him to stand there at this stage of the season and say 'Jesus wept, we're shit'. I'm no expert, but his body language doesn't suggest he thinks everything's fine to me.

Sounds like Blaney's probably done for the season and Nicholson's just done, as far as we're concerned.
