Aberdeen's approach has triggered a clause in Robinson's contract, apparently, so they have no option but to let him talk.
-
I don't know what would be funnier - Robinson taking the job or Robinson turning them down.
-
At least they aren't kicking it into the long grass. Though Robinson will soon fix that.

If you're not ultra optimistic as a Motherwell fan, it must be a hellish pastime. Four major trophies in 140 years tells its own story. This season may or may not be repeated, but while we're waiting and hoping for silverware, I'd much rather spend my hard earned watching a team at least attempting to play decent football. Or in St Mirren's case, football.

'Possibly unreliable drifter, whose exit led to a vast improvement in quality' may trump the 'incompetent bird' assessment.
-
Doesn't sound like their fans are too impressed by him, or his jumping ship routine: 'A migratory bird without competence' Damning stuff.

Connelly injured in training. Just, if NZ make the World Cup final.
-
Oxborough recalled following a training injury to Connelly.

Wee bit strange reading of things. Plenty of shots off target, but certainly not all, given their keeper made 8 saves. And their goal was disallowed because it was well offside.
-
Yeah, I got one no problem when they went on sale, but someone asked me the other day, and it had changed to season ticket holders only. Anyway, I'm sure Celtic won't mind if the away supporters turn up without a ticket.
-
Mibbe a daft question, but were they only ever supposed to be on sale to season ticket holders, or did they change it to that a few days ago?
-
Unless it's you predicting we'll lose....

I've heard some folk think every day's the 12th of July. You're obviously interested in what went on yesterday. Fair enough, but unless it affects our game on Saturday, is this really the place for it?
-
Unless they physically dragged Rangers fans onto the pitch, they're both to blame. People are responsible for their own actions, and since neither of them will ever give a toss about anyone else, I'm happy to reciprocate. If we turn up on Saturday, Celtic are there for the beating. Is that our allocation sold out?
-
They're both really to blame. End of story.

Tyler Magloire playing for Port Vale when they knocked Sunderland out the cup today.
-
First one down. McGregor and Tierney hopefully out for a couple of weeks.
-
Yeah, as you say, the idea of a trade-off is purely hypothetical. I get why folk are pissed off about the cup exits, but I'm not gonnae let them waste what has - for me - been an amazing season. Today was another absolute pisser, but nothing's over until it's over, so bring on next week.
-
Crowds haven't gone up this season because we won the cup in 1991. The hope is, if we carry on down this path, success will follow. If someone said we'd have a better chance of winning a cup were Robinson to return, with his footballing philosophy in tow, I'd say, no thanks. I realise some would roll out the welcome mat.

I saw it, and I remember it. I also remember being relegated twice, and the years of damage that did to the club. To each their own.
-
Even if they get relegated?
-
Do you remember Wullie Pettigrew, or Bobby Graham, or Tommy Coyne, or Brian Martin etc?
-
It's what's been sold so far.

And that was just on Saturday. Looking at the form table over the last 6 games, our stats are phenomenal. 4 points better off than Hearts, 5 more than Celtic, 6 more than Rangers. More goals scored than any of them and just a single goal conceded. We're all waiting for the wheels to come off, because let's face it, we're Motherwell, and they always do. But then, I've never seen a Motherwell side or manager quite like this, so there's a first time for everything. That includes me going to Dens. Hope it's mobbed, they deserve it.

Rebuild, remain. It's home.
