  1. Might mean we don't have to suffer his shite if we end up in the same half as Hibs. Maloney's lost the plot appealing that on the basis he was trying to play the ball.
  2. Re the downturn in our fortunes since Tony Watt left. Is it purely a case of him deciding to leave for more money, or was there a fall out with Alexander (or one of his team) or Burrows involved? Because the whole feeling coming from the place has changed since then.
  3. Gallagher's pre contract with us was announced on 11th April, and his deal with Aberdeen was announced on 6th May.
  4. What you don't do is hand a new contract to McGinley, so he doesn't feel left out next to Carroll or Mugabi. As for the non functioning midfield, who should take the blame for that, after endless months of fans pointing that out?
  5. Interesting to see so many Hibs fans saying they want shot of Maloney already, giving the same reasons most of us on here have for wanting Alexander out: weird team selections, no tactics, talking pish in every interview, and a collapse in form similar to ours - one league win since Boxing Day. Don't know whether that tells you be careful what you wish for, or just don't appoint shit managers.
  6. I see Jak Alnwick got sent off today, courtesy of flattening Tony Watt. I assume they put another goalie in, just in case we manage a shot on target. On a side issue, how feckin annoying is Tam Courts?
  7. To be honest, I don't give a toss how god awful other teams are, I'm only interested in how we play, and we're utterly pathetic. If Alexander said anything that suggested he found those performances unacceptable, there might be some hope it would change, but he just drones on about the next game, the next game....truly inspiring stuff. What's his long term plan? More of the same and scrape some wins, fingers crossed? When a manager who's only concerned with results stops getting results, it's time to go.
  8. Well, another interview where he doesn't really see a problem and thinks we were unlucky not to win. It's just insulting now.
  9. Giving managers time is a nice idea, but Alexander's set his stall out: he's more interested in results than performances and has no interest in changing our style. Same thing's happened at his previous clubs - decent results, but crap football that gets him the bullet as soon as the points stop coming in. Nobody, anywhere, wants to watch that excuse for football we've been enjoying for most of the season. God forbid we actually got into Europe, though that isn't gonnae happen.
  10. Try reading the comment I was replying to and you'll see why I mentioned the next match. After that 90 mins, aye, mibbe I will be on drugs.
  11. No, he won't be booted. But do you think he should be, if we don't win our next game?
  12. I'm finished with Alexander now. Squad, team, tactics, football, attitude and results are all utter shite.
  13. Woolery booked for clearly diving. Sarcasm, I assume.
  14. I can see why Alexander signed him, though it does look like another case of getting a decent player who's injury prone. When he was attempting to chase back at Hibs' second last week, he looked like a guy waiting on a hip replacement. Any manager watching that is gonnae target him all day. I hope I'm wrong, but it looks more than just rustiness.
  15. What is Alexander seeing from Ojala to justify his selection?
  16. St Johnstone are desperate for the points, obviously, but we should be too. If this game means more to their players than ours, the season's already over. No more talking about trying to win every game, Alexander's got to take some risks and go for it now.
  17. It's got a handle. D'you think we're made of money?
  18. It wasn't the worst tackle you'll ever see, but right in front of the referee when he was on a yellow was crazy. Funny watching him trying to get as far away from Frisk as possible afterwards, but I don't remember being amused at the time.
  19. I'll cut Mugabi some slack and say he could've got away with a yellow on another day. But then we'd have been looking at a guy, whose job was obviously to get in about Hibs, one or two fouls away from a red after one minute of a cup game refereed by Scotland's most card happy bastard - so it was a stupid, pointless challenge whatever way you look at it. Still, he's in good company- wee Dougie's game killing second yellow against Dortmund springs to mind for utter numbskullery.
  20. No sign of Victor Nirennold. Is he flat sharing with Eddie Nolan?
