I don't blame anyone for the equaliser. Once that ball is swung into the box it's a 50/50. It was a good header right on the postage stamp. I've been critical of Kelly recently but there is nothing he could have done with that.

Being camped in our own half for the almost entirety of the second half ultimately cost us at least a point today. The adjustment to the back line forced or not didn't help either but to blame it on an individual on the park is way off. We were swamped by wave after wave of attack and our second half game plan invited it with open arms. They were there for the taking today as others have said and perhaps if Gent had taken the opportunity in the first half it may have worked out differently. You can't deny the quality they have either. The boy who came on at half time and scored the equaliser turned the game on it's head. I just hope we can lift ourselves sufficiently to get a result on Wednesday and hope today hasn't knocked the stuffing out of us. Livi away is a cup final in my view.

If he was rested, which you don't know for sure, why is it unacceptable?
Kettlewell quoted before the game that Spittal got a knock on the knee midweek with significant swelling. Butcher out with a groin issue.

Not a bad first half but we really need to be more productive in possession and stop giving the ball away so easily. Bair is very isolated up front despite Vales best efforts to support him. Really missing Spittal in the advanced midfield position. That said we've created some good opportunities and limited hearts to anything meaningful. Fingers crossed for a good second half. COYW

mmmmmmm not convinced aberdeen are a good side
Tbf they've got quality in that squad but they haven't clicked this season. Having a gaffer only there for 6 months hopefully won't help.

Not the result I hoped for but that was a very entertaining match and a great advert for Scottish football in general. Good football, thrills and spills and some great goals. Reminds me of the 6-5 game between the sides back in the day. Bring on the Jambos. COYW

They're shiteing themselves boys and girls. It's coming...

They're huffing and puffing and can't catch a break. We'll steal this wait and see 😁

We need to win this. To shut these two clowns up if anything. Tosh is an absolute helmet.

Never thought I'd say this but I'd get devine off and O'Donnell on

I'll take that at half time. In and regroup and hopefully regain some composure ahead of the second half. We're still ahead albeit by a thin margin. If we can get the ball to Vale's feet and set the Bair off on a run there's goals in this side.

This is where you need your leaders to step up and grab the game by the scruff. We suddenly look nervous at hell.

Can't lose anymore before half time.

Wow! Superb stuff.
Love the disappointment in that whining prick McLean 😂

I heard a rumour on Friday that Gillespie will be leaving Newcastle in the summer. While i know he may well have better offers on the table it's maybe worth an approach in the least.

What was wrong with the surface - christ it was miles better than Fir Park on Tuesday. Lennon was miles off it tonight, but to lay the blame for it on the pitch is absurd.
That's garbage. The grass might be suffering at home but the surface is still flat. That pitch last night was like the public park, the ball was bobbling all over the shop when we tried to play passes. Just to clarify, I'm not at all blaming the pitch entirely for our lack of performance but it was certainly a contributory factor which suited Morton more than us. I still maintain however that that tie wasn't a game for Miller.

Kelly looked visibly nervous from the off. From the ball he dropped in the first 5 to the calamity that was the first goal. Having seen his body language week in week out this season he looks like a very anxious character at times. I genuinely believe he needs to be taken out of the spotlight for his own good. As for the captaincy, to me it's just an armband. It might be a cliché but you should have 11 captains on the pitch. Or at least least a solid spine of leaders from back to front to build around. I could see from the first 10 minutes that this wasn't the game for Miller, he plays the silky kind of football that's only suited to good surfaces and he struggled to get involved from the start. That game required grafters and we didn't have enough at our disposal simple as that. On a positive note, Jack Vale looks like he could be a find.

Imrie just been awarded the manager of the month curse. Pretty confident we'll pump them on Friday now.

Great team effort and very difficult to choose. I'm going to give it to Butcher. I was critical of him after his first half against Alloa but much improved since. Solid and kept it simple today. Very assured performance.

Has to be the Bair but I am huge fan of McGinn....2nd half tackle immense
It was. Left Kennedy in a crumpled heap and jogged away like a hitman. Amazing

I was shocked when Kev took to the pitch today. He's put on some beef. Gna take him weeks to get up to speed.
