  1. Beaton's hopeless. He's got his back turned whenever there's a foul on a Motherwell player.
  2. I don't care a jot if we shithouse our way to a point.
  3. WOW Tell Taylor to bring me back a fish supper.
  4. You can see Spittall trying but this is never a game for Goss who is ponderous and far too weak in the tackle or a not match sharp Slattery. It's a tough shift against them for any midfield but if you're going to compete at all you need engines in there.
  5. We've been disciplined in our shape so far and we've defended well but we must be braver on the ball. Too many times we've fought back position then surrendered it with an aimless panicked punt up the park. We're still in this but we can't lose another before half time.
  6. Something had to lighten up this forum. A few have fallen off a cliff tonight.
  7. We've won 5 of our last 8 games fs. Beating both Edinburgh sides and high flying St Mirren. Every team needs a maverick and we have one in VV but be under no illusion, performances in the last 8 games have been a team effort. You've got to be trolling now. Away to your bed .
  8. Aitchison did more in 20 minutes than Mandron did in 70 so what's your point?
  9. Anyone know how long Obika is out? Having heard very little I'm assuming he's out for the season?
  10. Thought there was a quite subdued atmosphere around the stadium today. Almost like we expected to brush Livi aside and the boys didn't disappoint. KVV is on fire right now and can do no wrong. Spittal has been like a new signing since Kettlewell came in and started playing him in the right position. Solid all over the park. Casey and Butcher the real deal. The two footballing thugs we've been crying out for all season. Well done the boys. I'll look forward to Sportscene tonight!
  11. This needs to gtf. Winds me up more than the opposition after a defeat.
  12. On reflection I thought we looked good in spells. KVV led the front line well despite the lack of a partner and we looked generally more assured all over the park. Good perseverance from Bevis to get us back to 2-2. Ultimately though, the same old story ensued. Our ball retention was shocking at times particularly in the second half and the inability to clear our lines cost us. You can't spend the bulk of 90 minutes chasing the shadows because we keep giving the ball away.
  13. A free hit. Who really cares anymore? It's been that long since we beat this mob that I just hope we come away without any injuries or suspensions.
  14. Two goalkeepers out the picture for Newcastle and Mark Gillespie still can't buy a start. Instead they sign that donkey that cost Liverpool the Champions League on an emergency loan. What an absolute waste and an insult. I know he's made his money but he's got to be unsatisfied with the lack of gametime down there.
  15. Welcome point in a game that was never going to be a classic. Better second half but I was still resigned to thinking it was going to be one of those days. What a pickout from Slattery though, who looks like a player given a new lease of life. I'd happily see the torn faced Polworth drop into the Championship just to spite his Mrs.
  16. Right Liam.. watch how the keeper runs off his goal line and catches the ball with his hands..
  17. Why oh why does Kelly not dive on that ball? It's in his 6 yarder fs
  18. This is likely to open a huge McCann of worms on this forum.
  19. Realistically I don't expect to get anything against Hearts on Sunday. I do however expect a better level of performance and for us to be harder to beat. For me anything we get from this game will be a welcome bonus and a momentum builder. If we then beat Killie on the 25th I'd give Kettlewell the job until at least the summer.
  20. If we could roll that turd in glitter between now and the end of the season that'll do just fine.
  21. Ideally someone who can save our ass and be progressive the following season. We shouldn't be content just to trundle along like the likes of Accies did during their time in the Prem because ultimately trundling doesn't sustain. We've been a progressive club before and can be again. COYW
