  1. On reflection I thought we looked good in spells. KVV led the front line well despite the lack of a partner and we looked generally more assured all over the park. Good perseverance from Bevis to get us back to 2-2. Ultimately though, the same old story ensued. Our ball retention was shocking at times particularly in the second half and the inability to clear our lines cost us. You can't spend the bulk of 90 minutes chasing the shadows because we keep giving the ball away.
  2. A free hit. Who really cares anymore? It's been that long since we beat this mob that I just hope we come away without any injuries or suspensions.
  3. Two goalkeepers out the picture for Newcastle and Mark Gillespie still can't buy a start. Instead they sign that donkey that cost Liverpool the Champions League on an emergency loan. What an absolute waste and an insult. I know he's made his money but he's got to be unsatisfied with the lack of gametime down there.
  4. Welcome point in a game that was never going to be a classic. Better second half but I was still resigned to thinking it was going to be one of those days. What a pickout from Slattery though, who looks like a player given a new lease of life. I'd happily see the torn faced Polworth drop into the Championship just to spite his Mrs.
  5. Right Liam.. watch how the keeper runs off his goal line and catches the ball with his hands..
  6. Why oh why does Kelly not dive on that ball? It's in his 6 yarder fs
  7. This is likely to open a huge McCann of worms on this forum.
  8. Realistically I don't expect to get anything against Hearts on Sunday. I do however expect a better level of performance and for us to be harder to beat. For me anything we get from this game will be a welcome bonus and a momentum builder. If we then beat Killie on the 25th I'd give Kettlewell the job until at least the summer.
  9. If we could roll that turd in glitter between now and the end of the season that'll do just fine.
  10. Ideally someone who can save our ass and be progressive the following season. We shouldn't be content just to trundle along like the likes of Accies did during their time in the Prem because ultimately trundling doesn't sustain. We've been a progressive club before and can be again. COYW
  11. He's no chance of that job. Not the 'big' name they desire.
  12. We're in a really poor state. John Hughes on radio Scotland this afternoon desperate for a job. Give him it til the end of the season and see if he can keep us up. Anything's better than the current regime.
  13. Kelly's garbage. Indecision and he and O'Donnell have been at each other all game.
  14. It's simply because he has no clue what to do. Simple as that. He's throwing players on and hoping for the best.
  15. It's fling players on the park and hope for the best. We're fucked.
  16. There's a combination of Lamie, Goss and O'Donnell culpable there. Shows a real lack of organisation at the back. What's Kelly doing? Can he not see there's 3 players marking one man in the 6 yarder?
  17. Free header from a cross ball. Story of our season. Who has the job of picking the guy up?
  18. Big unit, looks like he's broken his nose a couple of times and has a resemblance to Phil Jones. Hopefully a centre half and just what we need.
  19. Camp 1 only exists due to the existence of Camp 2 imo. I don't blame him at all for wanting to be elsewhere right now. The guys confidence is rock bottom.
  20. St J had an experienced CB in Considine, the number 34 in the middle who ran the show for 90 minutes and although I've never rated the guy Stevie May who's streetwise and will run all day. A proper spine of experience and willingness to graft and influence the players around them. Everything we are lacking at the moment. Whether it's our existing players having no confidence in hamell or something wrong deeper within the club one things for sure, if we continue on this path were going straight down without reply. My biggest fear being a long stay in the lower divisions for years to come.
