If we could have PATG from August onwards then I think we would see a boost in crowds. However it looks like we will be limited to 25% of capacity for most of next season which will probably kill off the habit of going for a lot of people who don't have season tickets..
Empty stadiums is one thing, watching a game with a socially distanced 3000 crowd that you are personally prohibited from attending is a different prospect all together.
I don't see this happening but if it did there is no way they could run teams in England and Scotland. It would be far too much expense and they would be looking at trying to get their fans in for 50 odd home games a year rather than 30ish the now.
The Scottish league would survive but the winners would be the city clubs and we would be hit hard by it as TV is a bigger proportion of our revenue than it is for Aberdeen, Hearts and Hibs. We had to down the size the squad hugely after Rangers left the league in 2012 and we would be starting the downsizing at a lower level right now.
Mainly because of how much McCall declined as a manager by making Twardzik the number one and starting the season with Josh Law in the 10 position. I think those two moves lost him the dressing room. Robinson had bad spells all through his tenure, McCall was consistently successful then went off a cliff.
There was also the weird stuff with Boyle threatening to sell us to Nobby Solano, Hutchinson coming in and then Barraclough saying he was here to win the league.
Eddie Nolan has to the worst signing ever. We have had many, many players who have played shite and loads of players who are too shite to even play but I don't think we've ever had a player who hasn't set foot in the stadium.
At least we have photographic evidence that Kraska existed.
The core of the team was Hammell, McManus, Lasley, Pearson, McDonald and Sutton. All good pros who wouldn't be want to be relegated and had an affinity for the club.
2014/15 was a strange season. Even more than this one.
I'd stick with the 4-3-3 just now as we have been getting goals from the link up play between Cole, Watt, Roberts and Long. Our midfield options are horrible and playing as few of them as possible is the best option.
Other than the Accies and St Johnstone meltdowns we have had a goal threat in every league game since GA took over. Fixing the middle of the park will have to wait until the summer.
