We were beaten by Robinson's tactics. Two up front and and out numbered in the middle of the park. A Grimshaw, McHugh and Campbell midfield is never going to be able to take the pressure of the defence. Individually I thought the players did ok. Campbell and Carson were outstanding. Kipre was very good. Dunne was his usual self with great defending and terrible passing. Hopefully we use the money from these runs to bring in some footballers and open up a bit so we are better to watch next season. The worst bit of the day was when I noticed Petracvicuis warming up.....
The people who are raging about the Gaza protest would probably have raging about a Free Nelson Mandela protest in the 80s.
I'd say Livingstone would benefit from a season as back up. He is clearly gifted going forward but isn't ready to be starting left back.
Not having a natural left sided player has made it easy for teams to defend against us in open play. Get Tait back to right wing back where he is an attacking threat and sign someone who can do a similar job on the left.
That's what I would be after but it would surely leave us bloated.
For three centre midfield spots we have McHugh, Campbell, Cadden, Tanner, Bigi, Grimshaw, Rose as first team players then Turnbull and Brown. 9 players without signing anyone.
If we are getting beat neither Main or Bowman will be going off. Turnbull or Bigi would make us a bit more attacking in the centre of the park bringing off McHugh/Grimmy. Frear would only be an option in a 4-4-2 which I don't see us using. Tait is more of an attacking threat at LWB than Frear so no point in making a straight swap there.
I don't understand resigning Rose when we should be looking to bring on Turnbull and Brown and move Cadden from wing back into midfield.
The guy has had a couple of decent games when we got a flukey lead and sat on it but if you have to break a team down or chase a game he's worse than a man down.
I wouldn't be surprised if crafty local Tims used Well fans names and addresses to get tickets.
You can't really complain when you had a fortnight to get one and didn't bother ...
Really? He rolled a great ball across the goal line, almost scored with the header at the first and made the overlap for the second. I thought he looked sharp throughout.
Maclean and Maguire have been good. Ciftci scored and did a nice flick but has been generally dire. Frear has been terrible and is running about with long sleeves and a vest.....
We will surely be looking to add better quality than Gavin Reilly.
Robinson is conservative but he's not stupid. He obviously knows that he's walking a tightrope with the lack of goals and he won't get away with it next season.
Skippy's season is hopefully ending tonight.
Fans still coming into the ground. It looks like Livi only opened turnstyles in the main stand for their fans which is a joke. Looks like less than 1500 Arabs in at the moment.
