Quite an impressive implosion. We missed two empty nets, gave away a stupid pen, got two men sent off for dissent and the keeper chucked in the winner. The 3-5-2 didn't suit the players we had on the park and made it easy for Killie to defend our slow build up play. Any time we raised the tempo and put them under pressure we looked dangerous but the vast majority was fairly insipid. Craigan continually had them playing short corners despite the fact Killie couldn't defend crosses and we had a massive height advantage.

Losing Tanner for the rest of the season is a massive blow. If you look at our goals since Moult left he has been keeping us afloat.

Tom Aldred is probably the best shout when you think about the numpties we have at centre back. If Campbell has a 15 year career in the top flight and picks up a good wage in England for a couple of years he'll have done well. There's not been much technical ability on show from anyone this season so Campbell can get a pass on that. At 5 foot 6 he's going to have to do it the hard way and he'll need to be dominating week in week out to attract English scouts.

Hearts' final three games. Home Partick 17/3. Away Dundee 1/4. Home Aberdeen 7/4. You would normally expect them to come out with a minimum four points but they are dreadful going forward so it could be less.

We've only got three Scottish players so it would be a bit harsh to Tait to leave him out. I don't see Campbell making it that far. His style of play made no impact when he came up against athletic players in the u21s. He can be a great player at our level though, similar to Lasley.

You've got to wonder how much difference a goalie coach can make anyway. There are no tactics involved and you can have two very different goalies (eg Randolph and Hollis or Forster and Gordon) coached by the same coach. If it's worth having a coach just for positioning saves, catches and kicking is it worth having a coach for passing? We definitely have a few players who could surely improve their basic skills.
