Cummins and Kerr have both had good games as well as bad ones. That's what happens with kids but in their case it is exacerbated by the fact the defence is being changed almost weekly and they don't have a Craigan type to play alongside them.

I agree that the management have to take the majority of blame. The players are getting away with poor performances as they know their place in the team is pretty much guaranteed. I appreciate we have a small squad but I'd much prefer to watch some youngsters with a bit of enthusiasm and fight in them than see a lacklustre performance from a player who knows they won't be dropped. Time McCall gave them a wake-up call.

Same here. Inverness pumping them shows just how pathetic a performance it was from McCall and the team.

I would have liked to have seen us go for it a bit more today. We are a better team than Hearts and that showed in some of the football we played but their keeper hardly had a save to make. We were a goal down after 14 minutes but the only time we really went looking for an equaliser was 90+ minutes when we sent Randy up for a corner. Levein-esque tactics IMO.

It is harsh but FFS it seems that all he ever does in interviews pre and post match is talk them up. The Motherwell fans who were there last night were badly let down and they should be at the forefront of McCall's mind rather than mentioning the bile brigade. We encouraged their fans to create an atmosphere by allowing ourselves to be bullied at every turn.

Is the club statement an attempt to get the orcs to buy tickets for the game and increase the money we will be due? I'd be disappointed if that was the case but I really can't think of any other reason for releasing such a statement.

From what I saw tonight they are the equivalent of an SPL reserve team. A few run of the mill SPL standard players surrounded by kids. We should not lose to them and there will be far more pressure on them than us. IMO a draw would be a shock result.

They are murder. Their "good" players aren't good enough to drag the youngsters through a game against us. They constantly give the ball away cheaply and I think we'll punish them. The big pitch will work in our favour as well.

In my opinion we've done well to hold off from panic signings. We're in a good position in the league and we've got almost a full squad to choose from. Saunders is the only injury and we've got enough cover at the back without him. Free agents will now be beginning to lower their expectations so we can now hopefully get a better standard of player if we're in the market to make a signing.
