Also 11 points clear of bottom (effectively 12 points with GD) and 4 points clear of 2nd bottom (effectively 5 points with GD and with a game in hand). This 100% Ainsworth one on one Marv had at least two great chances Moult missed a great chance for his hat trick. The pace of our counter attack was phenomenal and they just couldn't handle us. I was going nuts when Ainsworth went off as he was running riot and after that we had no out ball at all but young Watt did very well and we were comfortable if truth be told. The improvement since McGhee came in and Pearson and Lasley linked up in centre mid has been massive. Watching that online you have to think Aberdeen have a serious chance of winning the league (and feel gutted our purple patch came too soon). There isn't much between the defences, Celtic have the better midfield if everyone is fit but Celtic have no quality in the final third and you would take Hayes, Rooney and McGinn ahead of any Celtic attacker.
