Yeah, a well-chosen loan would keep his development moving and maybe get him closer to the Udinese manager’s plans, but a return to the SPL would be a clear step backwards. I think there’s maybe an issue with him settling by the sounds of it. Although it does surprise me a bit as I watched Slanes you tube thing and Lennon had said all communication is in English between the players and management so you’d think it’d be much easier for him. I have watched Udinese a few times and they are a good side and they are a massive team, all units who are all mobile and good on the ball. Lennon still just looks (and is) a young boy.
