Never quite got the hype from our fans for him. Looking back I'd say he was ok but no more than that. In a few of the matches in which I saw him, the game seemed to pass him by. If he's being punted out on loan again by Coventry, that tells its own story.

Stamatelopoulos was a regular starter in that league as well and look how hes turned out, its no guarantee of ability, and just to clarify Stama is better than Danzaki, so thats all that needs to be said re how good Danzaki was.

Danzaki was totally out of his depth. And he’s clearly an idiot. Stama just isn’t very good.

Every league has good and shite players. There's plenty of Danzakis in our league, so i wouldnt judge a signing on where they came from.

I will judge our recruitment department on how they managed to convince themselves that Danzaki had anything to offer, though. I'm very sure we just signed him as a random Japanese player because celtic had some. Like a Serie A team signing Liam Polwarth because Scot McTominay is class.

Aye but Shaun McSkimming was a starter in the same league as Brian Laudrup
