agree 100% wit this. Should be out the door by mid day Monday.

Cue for " But who are go to get"

there is another donkey in the field next to my house, might be an improvement.

Alexander went after finishing fifth so the precedent has been set. Kettlewell out. That’s worse than Sligo for me

He is a terrible football manager.

I've criticised you frequently for wanting him out, and up till now I was cutting him some slack, with all the injuries we have etc but after today no more we were brutal, big support up and we shat the nest big time. So for me his time is up, he needs to go.

I’ve backed SK to the hilt, even at times when it’s been clear he’s been at fault and also due to the names brought up to replace him……. But I now feel we can’t keep watching this anti-football. I don’t trust him to bring in new players as he’ll still have his favourites being automatic starters. I think time is up.

Defended him loads even when things were bad but I am sorry....after last season horrendous run when board backed him he has had 2 windows and we have made no progress and a style of football which is terrible.

The injuries this season of course haven't helped but his attitude has changed and he seems to love sound of his own voice.

Board don't have the guts to make a change but I think it's time to go despite fact we are 5th but that will change very quickly.

If we turn it round I promise you I will be first on this forum apologising to him

Who's out there realistically that would improve us?

Just need to look around the country to see all managers are crap according to their fan base.

Not that I am saying stick or punt.

As I've said before maybe a freshen up of our coaching staff or even an addition. Fresh views are needed.

The football on display has been brutal to watch over the past few seasons. We have had far too many performances where we haven't laid as much as a glove on the opposition. Today seemed as a predictable result and performance as they come, it's a real shame that almost 2000 fans travelling couldn't motivate the side in any way. I wouldn't shed a tear of he got his jotters but that won't happen

He will fluke a win next week.

Pretty sure we could unearth a gem from somewhere that has a plan b if they have that then give them the job right now.

Maybe David Healy from Linfeld along those lines  who knows but that's where I would be looking should job come up.

Fair play.

I don't think he's going to lose his job unless we end up in the play off spot. You're maybe right there - some fresh ideas. Next week is going to be a massive game for us obviously.

I don't think he will lose his job even if we end up in a play off spot tbh.He has so many aces up his sleeve to fall back on saving us from the drop, Bair turn around, injuries, winning at Ibrox and getting us to a semi final.

But sometimes things run it's course no matter what's went on and it's starting to look like we need those fresh ideas pronto cause Kettlewell looks out of ideas and has been for a while.

All those saying next week is massive etc are missing the point. Today was massive. The continual shrug of the shoulders and better-luck-next-time attitude is precisely why donkeys like Kettlewell continue to be safe in their jobs.

Time for him to go.

He's on about injuries but even with 3 defenders out we still put out a back 5 that have had enough game time this season. Its not as if he needed to use youngsters to fill the void.

The formation was still the same as most of his games in charge and this sitting back and allow teams to have possession is killing us. I can understand it if it's against the Glasgow pair but the rest of the teams in the league we shouldn't be allowing it.

So, none of the above was affected by the 9 players being out, we'd have still played the same way

I see he is after another striker (despite needing a replacement for McGinn or some steel in the midfield.) The issue doesn't lie with the strikers not getting gaols, it lies with them not getting the service to at least get attempts in to start with.

Its always the same excuses after the game but nothing changes.

So, yea time to go.

The question is who replaces him, on that I am still not sure but one thing I do know is, whoever it is, we don't offer them a new contract after 6 months just because they won a couple of games.

SK did himself no favours today. He failed to motivate the players, and set us up all wrong. Did we do any homework on StJohnstone at all? It didn"t seem like it. I'm sticking with him until next Saturday. Another loss though and that's it for me.

He can't keep living off the " I signed bair and won at ibrox" as a reason to stick with him.   After previous away games and huge support a reaction was expected today and it wasn't.

But as I also said....the players need a look at themselves

With respect why would him signing Bair - who has moved on keep him at Motherwell if he's not producing the goods.

because these are a few of the positives, He ignores the negatives.

Reminds me of the persons I dislike most of my life saying goes "Talks a good game"

Oh I totally agree with you sometimes things run it's course and that's where I am with Kettlewell.

It just the same stuff over and over nothing I have seen recently tells me anything other it's going to continue to be so poor.

Cheers pal,  yup I have backed him loads but enough is enough

He wouldn't be out a job for long as his media pals would see him ok

As pissed of as everyone else, but the manager ain't going anywhere and imo shouldn't be,financially and at this time of season should be enough for him to continue, his remit every season is to keep us in the league and he is the process of doing even although things can change very quickly,it's stick or twist time with the former the safest option, hopefully we are still spfl end of season and that's when Kettlewell or the board decide the future.

I was asking someone why they thought him having signed Bair who has moved on would keep him in a job if we were terrible. I don't see Kettlewell talking about Bair right now

I said that and I just mean that if under pressure Kettlewell will throw that fact in.  Yes it was a stroke of genius but shouldn't guarantee his job, he needs to turn this round bit I don't have faith in him , but that's just my opinion

Him signing Bair won't guarantee his job - Bair is gone. But I think people need to be realistic. Do folk think we are going to sack a manager at this stage in the season when we are fifth. Irrespective of how badly we are playing just now

No. He is going nowhere but he is losing support in each passing week.  I was a fan and had backed him loads but not anymore.  Also his attitude for me has also  changed, is everyone's fault bar his and loves being darling of the media.   The recent constant moaning at refs also irritating,   yes we have had lots of horrendous decisions but so do other teams

With respect. I disagree. He's got every right to call refs out for bad decisions. And I don't see him as being a darling of the media either. He gets criticism all over social media. I do hope he turns it around but if not I pity the next person who takes the job - he'll get the same treatment in time

Not from me, I always give every manager my backing but if it ain't working I will be honest.   I certainly like Kettlewell a lot more than Alexander who was just a horrible character in my opinion and treated some players terribly
