Aye, well done you for a couple of likes. So thats what - 25-33% upfront. 33% of £4mill still gives us a decent amount to work with to reshape the squad in addition to leveraging future deals through guaranteed income over the next 3 years. But you knew that too.
Richie
I'm a bit sceptical how much would even go to players. Think a load will go on infrastructure etc. We're not really going to be breaking our wage structure or paying much more than we already to. To do that we need a sustained increase in income. That revenue will just help us not be as impovrished, whether we recieved it in one lump or over a series of instalments. Its good that we both know these things
thewelllfan
We'll only be signing a Goalkeeper as back up to Balcombe until Ox is back and to allow Connoly to go back to EK and play. Mair broke his finger I believe so he'll be going back to Norwich. Don't see us bringing else in other than that. Can't understand why we've kept Taveres at all. Spit_It_Out
The next manager is going to be the biggest signing of the season that's for sure. We need him in this week at the latest to drill this shower into some sort of unit no excuses.

Kmcalpin
I'm surprised that Matty Connelly was given a new 12 month deal last summer, but isn't considered good enough to be our No 2, only 6 months later.
thewelllfan
I'm concerned looking at our midfield and defence but the squad is huge so what can you do. Don't see anyone else coming in with an hour to go.

Is it a case, of he's better off getting games chasing the lowland league title with EK as opposed to sitting on his arse, bored to tears watching us? Spit_It_Out
Honestly when you step back and look at how much money we have burned on players that's have gave us next to nothing last 6 months it's shocking. Don't want to hear tight budget,3rd smallest budget in the league bs ever again.
fizoxy
Is some of that not covered by insurance for injured players? Also, I'd assume loans are cheaper than full time transfers. So, it ls not ideal ans no doubt costs us more than we'd like, but probably not at blowing our budget levels.
Richie
Luke Amos has been mutualled by Hibs. Possibly outwith our wage budget though.

The money will come out of next couple of annual budgets or be paid for by Lennon Miller. It definately doesn't mean we've magically got more money to spend. Kmcalpin
I doubt if the bloated squad will cost us that more. Say we're 7 players up on our normal squad. Average pay £1,250 pw for say 5 months. That might cost us an extra £180,000 - £200,000. Not a fortune in the great scheme of things. That's a very rough estimate of course.
