We need to support everyone at Motherwell Football Club.
The manager is relatively inexperienced and learning on the job in testing circumstances and lots of pressure.
The goalkeepers form recently is questionable however he has made excellent stops previously and managed to get himself international recognition at MFC.
Sod Butcher McGinn and Mugaba have all made mistakes which have lost the team goals.
Lennon and Davour are in there first season and will make mistakes.
Bair wasn’t anyone’s choice as a signing.
All of the above respond much better with the support of the fans. I know that’s difficult at times however we should remember it’s the football club we support.
Can we win at Tynecastle tomorrow? Yes we can!

Well said.   I have on many occasions said that booing players isn't going to help their confidence.

The Bair is prime example of what confidence can do to a player

Indeed.
It could spread throughout the team.
We shouldn’t forget the positive power the supporters can bring to the club and games
SK and his players will keep Motherwell a premier league club and then the supporters can decide where we go from there.
Right now get behind the effort, the positive play the goals.

I think we all know the answer to that.

Does any other manager provide full explanations and justifications as to why they substitute certain players in games? Or start with certain players over others?

I was being sarcastic. Paton is his wee pal.

I like Paton. Gets a hard press at times but never hides and puts in plenty of effort.  However once Halliday fit then I would expect him to drop out as Davor Spittal and Miller ahead of him in my opinion

I also like Paton , but he seems untouchable at the moment. We will just to wait and see when all our midfield players are fit and available.

For some, Kettlewell still being Motherwell manager is in itself controversial.

With Motherwell only a couple of points off of Top 6 and on a shoe string budget, it is controversial that there is any controversy.

How's this for some real controversy. Motherwell are going to win this one. I can feel it!!

There is absolutely no need for such a positive attitude.   Shame on you!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Paton is an okay midfielder without really specialising in anything. He doesn't do the dirty dogged midfield work, he doesn't play defence splitting passes, he doesn't carry the ball particularly well, and his finishing is poor. He's missed some chances in the past month or two that Spittal would devour.

He's decent and tidy and links the play, but that's about it.

Surely that's enough? As long as he does those things and keeps it simple, the other midfielders can try all of the fancy stuff.

I see where your coming from but I do feel he can do all the things you say he can't , however he doesn't do it often enough hence he's at us.  All about opinions as always  but a cracker I read on twitter today a well fan saying he'd drop spittall tomorrow. I mean he's easily our best player and I think anyone can see he's playing with a huge level of confidence at the moment. Some of his 1 touch pass and move is exceptional. Also Bair on Wed was rolling his foot over ball etc again confidence surging through him. It's a huge plus in players and emphasises points a lot make about being supportive.

I'm with you Grizzly but I'd have halliday and miller sitting with Spittal and vale behind bair. Vale looks as if he's got something. Davor and paton as back up gives us bit of depth in there.

Spittal is another under valued.  Now yes I gave him dogs abuse at Alloa game due to his corners being poor but his assists and goals record superb.   We all have our favourite players and ones we like to criticise, as long as it's done in the right manner it's all healthy

Let's do this tomorrow

His corners were (shiter than normal) in the Alloa game though!

Yeah absolutely enough, if he could carry the ball and finish he'd be somewhere other than Motherwell.

You regularly tell people not to boo players (which I agree with), I don't see how happily admitting you give Spittal dogs abuse is any better.

I probably worded it badly, I wasn't giving him dogs abuse. Just pelters due to his corners being poor. Don't worry Karma came back to bite me when he scored that free kick 😜😜
