I thought it was deep enough that Kelly should have come out for it.

Agreed, either or, but Bevis could have cleared it instead of staring at it. Been the same problem with defenders all season. Look at the ball then look about and shake yer head that someone else didn't deal with it.  A defenders first instinct under pressure shpuld be to get it tae fuck.

Because that ref is a clown. He also missed an obvious corner for us at 40 mins when the defender blocked Bair's shot.

Shows how bad we are when we're complaining about referee and loosing 2 nil to saints. We've shown nothing so far and defended poorly

You'd think the keeper running out to congratulate him on blocking the shot might've been a wee give away, but our refs are too clever to fall for that.

Not trying to shift blame to ref. He’s made 2 mistakes so he has a lot more left to make to get anywhere near the amount of mistakes we are making

We're a total shambles at the back, from the way the manager sets us up,we have never looked like a competent defensive unit all season then there's the individual errors that cost us every game.theres major work to be done on our defence and bringing in new players will only go so far, kettlewell needs to start setting us far better than we have seen this season.

Their first goal comes from a cross that the RWB should've prevented, but we've got an attacking midfielder playing RWB for reasons only known to that genius Kettlewell. Then the crossed ball should've been cleared by a competent centre-half, but for some reason, Kettlewell decided to put Mugabi back into the starting lineup today. The less said about the Mugabi-Kelly clusterfuck for the second goal, the better. This shitshow so far typifies this entire season, and for as long as we have Kettlewell at the helm, we'll see the same defensive frailties next season. We may score freely at times, which is commendable, but it's clear that he doesn't know how to set up a team to defend or how to get the best out of the average players available on our budget.

FFS, not going to be our day today. Any other day, there would hev been 2 goals in the last five mins. There was some right neat footy in there at times too.

I suppose ending the season on a defeat will give the Four Posters of The Apocalypse plenty to post about for the next couple of months.

Happy close season everyone. We can now go and post on P&B about how shite Scotland are at the Euros, before coming back here to slag off a manager domestically after a good pre-season of dismissing new signings before they've kicked a ball.

Looking forward to it already 🙂

Today kind of summed up the season.

1) Scored. 2) Didn't play well with no recognisable style of play, bit pedestrian. 3) Defensively hopeless. 4) No home win.

I'm mentioned it before but I will do again.  We conceded in 35 out of 38 league matches. Big, big improvements needed over the the summer, especially defensively.
