You'd think the keeper running out to congratulate him on blocking the shot might've been a wee give away, but our refs are too clever to fall for that. wellfan Posted May 19, 2024 Report Share Posted May 19, 2024 Their first goal comes from a cross that the RWB should've prevented, but we've got an attacking midfielder playing RWB for reasons only known to that genius Kettlewell. Then the crossed ball should've been cleared by a competent centre-half, but for some reason, Kettlewell decided to put Mugabi back into the starting lineup today. The less said about the Mugabi-Kelly clusterfuck for the second goal, the better. This shitshow so far typifies this entire season, and for as long as we have Kettlewell at the helm, we'll see the same defensive frailties next season. Posted May 19, 2024 Report Share Posted May 19, 2024 Today kind of summed up the season. 1) Scored. 2) Didn't play well with no recognisable style of play, bit pedestrian. 3) Defensively hopeless. 4) No home win. I'm mentioned it before but I will do again. We conceded in 35 out of 38 league matches. Big, big improvements needed over the the summer, especially defensively.
