As good as he is, lots of players his age disappear of the radar by the time they are 21. We can get good value in add-ons with the right deal though. I'm not quite sure what kind of money you were expecting, as this is very much in the ball park of every valuation I have seen since the outset. Ive no doubt its all potential at his age but there are numerous players his age and below who have gone for similar if not a lot more money and as u say its all just potential Oyo, 14 years old - €2.5mil Merida - 15 years old - €3.2ml Pellegri - 16 years old - €20mil And just for laughs and if we want to get silly and suggest every single player of his age only has potential then Pato - 17 years old - €24mil Junior - 18 years old - €45mil Rodrygo - 18 years old - €45mil Some could argue that the above, of literally hundreds of young players didnt have the stats of Miller or had/have even been capped for their country so I still maintain that £4.5mil, given his apparent stats and stature isn't an awful lot of money but the fact he plays for Motherwell and is playing in Scotland along with not having a fancy sounding name has clearly had an impact on his valuation, so as I said, lets hope we get a good sell on clause and all the 4.5mil is up front and maybe add an "o" to the end of Miller 🤑

There's the potential of being screwed over with the sell on fee if Udinese sell Miller to themselves at Watford for a low fee and then let Watford sell him on at a huge profit. Their owners are dodgy as fuck.
Richie
Miller would also have to be open to a move to Watford.

The extra wee kick back he'd get as a cut for saving them the sell-on fee before immediately moving on somewhere else would probably soften the blow, all without ever having to step foot in Watford. wellgirl
Apparently Ipswich Town made an offer that Motherwell rejected.

That's a decent base fee and you'd expect add ons take it to 5M if there's a sell on as well we've done well. I wouldn't expect much to be re-invested in the squad. I'd say we need another 4/5 players to finish the squad 2x Cb 1x Cm 2x Attackers - 1 out an out striker, 1 that can play all across the forward line. Squads light with all our injuries and JBA clearly doesn't fancy Balmer so could do with shifting him.
