Could be a good signing but he's been inconsistent across his career in terms of goal scoring, even season on season at the same club.

Hopefully this is a decent season for him.

Even if he can get 10 goals that'd be twice as many as last season's top scorer.

For years we were Liam FC......Kelly....Grimshaw....donnelly...polworth

Think the team of Steves that we had over a decade ago years ago was the most impressive - Hammell, Saunders, Craigan, Jenkins, Howarth (who?), Jones, Meecham (again, who?) and also including honorary Steve, the 'Goal Machine' Esteban Casagolda.

You just made the bad knee thing up (I hope)

I’m afraid he does have a history of knee injuries. Hopefully he can get some consistent game time with us but with that issue and our ridiculous injury record over the past couple of years it does make you worry.

That said, good to see we have strengthened our front line and I wish him well.

Aye I saw that but I think it was when he was in his teens

He played 32 times last season.

Foundations built on sand which were laid under both previous ownerships too come crumbling down.

Losing their ‘elite’ academy status (which many like the Dundee clubs believed to be ill gotten) meant major loss of funding stream to operate. Don’t think the club envisaged that action.

They’re not the first club in recent years to close or pause their academies. Queens Park who are every bit as renowned as Accies ceased their operation this year. Sign of the times?

Unfair on ‘charlatan’ owner who’s no doubt made mistakes in those he’s employed to oversee operations when the known rogue who owns the ground gets a relatively free ride from those boycotting.

Little sympathy for a support who hate us more than they love their own club.

I feel sorry for them and their fans who are football people just like us, it's a generalisation to say what you have about their support,  unless you've talked to them all...which tbf wouldn't take that long.
