We can pick holes in this performance but at the end of the day we were playing the best team in the championship at home and we won. Give me this as oppose to our last game in the cup up there all day long.

bring on the quartersΒ

Some strange (poor) refereeing decisions today, but job done.

An away win against the Championship favourites is always a decent result.

It's obvious where we need strengthening, but from JBA's recent presser, it sounds like more bodies are incoming.

given it was david dickinson in charge, no suprise about the stop start nature of game and stupid bookings.

I couldn't watch the game today for some unknown reason, but if one was to look at the BBC stats.....60% possession, 15 shots on goal, 7 on target, 13 corners, you could be forgiven for surmising it was an exciting performance with loads of goalmouth action. I'm guessing from the tone on here, that wasn't the case ?

Had to graft but safely through. StJ were always going to be a tough opponent. As said before best team in the Champ and on their own turf. It's still clear we need reinforcements in before the window closes. Another centre half for me and a centre forward with a bit of experience and a physique that can rough up defenders would be ideal. I've every confidence that the manager will know exactly what's required. COYWΒ

good result but very frustrating watch.Β  Im not sure where goals will come from with this system as the slow build up allows defences to get behind the ball and restrict space.Β  I hope the manager knows and fixes itΒ

Don't think it is a slow build up , if we are keeping the ball it's restricting opposition.Β
