Do you genuinely not get any pleasure out of watching players and systems evolve week by week? Or are you only interested in having a finished product immediately available that is going to win every game?
wellgirl
We are not all fur coat and no knickers. We are a team that have had three managers in the last year and who were struggling under Kettlewell for a few reasons. Players that were clearly struggling and lost confidence to boot. We were candidates for relegation at one point last season and we stayed up. The team still has to gel - that's clear. It's also clear that every player is playing for the manager and trying their best. Even Ward who has made mistakes that cost us. The negativity on here is staggering at times

Of course I do and I have enjoyed a lot of our play so far this season and stated already that it is so much more refreshing that what we have seen in recent years where there has been virtually zero football in the team. There are positives and encouraging signs but we’ve yet to see it ‘bear fruit’ in that we have played some good stuff but failed to register a win yet and there are still question marks over the team and the manager which is perfectly reasonable and to be expected for us and especially at this stage in a new regime. I don’t see us going up to Aberdeen and getting our first win in a Cup quarter final, but hopefully it comes soon as the longer we go without getting it it becomes a bigger thing for us. Any reason why we couldn't get that first win against Dundee?
wellsince75
For the first time in many years there's very positive signs. The best football I can recall us playing in +40 years, as good as we were in the 90s with McLean and also under Mcghee v1. We have a very good manager, the best squad in years with people who can actually play football. There's a few teams that will be on the wrong end of spanking from us. Aberdeen may well be one of them.

Inflato
This is now a must win game... As in, at least someone must win. Everything to come together and comfortable win for the good guys.

MJC
All Cup games are must win. Unfortunately we as a team are incapable of winning games and as a club we don’t have the bottle to go to one of the bigger sides grounds and dump them out of a Cup*. I reckon 0-0 or 1-1 after 90 minutes followed by an ‘agonising/unlucky’ loss AET or on penalties. We’ll no doubt play some nice stuff in the middle of the park, miss some chances and if we do manage to score we’ll chuck one or two in for them. Whatever happens we will lose on the day. * Yes, I do know that we won 1-0 up there in the ‘91 Scottish Cup run. 34 years ago now.

Saying that we are "incapable of winning games" is quite a strong statement five games into the season
robsterwood
2 teams that can't win a match. Something's got to give. I would rather win the league game if it came down to a choice given Celtic and Hearts and Rangers still in cup.

Dundee Utd giving up 1-3 lead at Hibs to end 3-3 the teams are really really close this season
grizzlyg
Not a happy clapper but can I just point out we have yet to lose a competitive game this season. Yes some frustrating results but jeez give me this style ahead of the dross we were served under previous managers. I really like JBA and I am sure we will progress under him.
