But for me Elijah has quick feet and a brain to match, if fit he has to be one of the first picks. I tend to agree but based on Saturday, none of Said, Maswanhise or Charles-Cook deserve to lose their place...

stv
Long late journey back up the road for Aberdeen supporters on a Saturday night . Hopefully made even longer after a scudding from us.
FirParkCornerExile
Before the transfer window I fancied us in both games against Aberdeen because I thought Aberdeen were pish. On paper I thought they'd strengthened significantly in the window. So my natural slant towards pessimism I thought the cup tie would be a step to much for us. Thankfully it didn't turn out that way. I was always more hopeful for the home league game. If we can play as we can , and to be fair that's better than we played on Saturday, we should be able to get 3 points. texanwellfan
Watching Falkirk v Hibs. Don’t see much for us to be afraid of from either team. Not saying that we will brush them aside but we should go into any game with a degree of confidence and a realistic chance of 3 points. Only thing xcetion to that might be Celtic but by all accounts they seem to be not quite as good as they have been previous seasons.

The annoying /potentially worrying thing about our start to the season is if Aberdeen manage to win on Saturday, they are only 1 point behind us - yet have been abysmal so far! Really need a win this weekend to kickstart our season

Ten games in last season they were talking about him challenging for the league 🙂
Yir Elder
So, a Dons team bottom of the league and without a goal, come to Fir Park on Saturday night. Just had a flashback to 26 years ago, when a bottom of the league Dons side came to Fir Park struggling for goals. The result? Motherwell 5 Aberdeen 6!! Surely not again??!!..... grizzlyg
Yup I hate it when team on terrible run plays us. However we should let them worry about us. COYW

COYW They were on a terrible run when we beat them on Saturday. Having said that, there are fine margins between most teams, and they have some decent players - so it's important that we are a bit more clinical than we were at the weekend so we remove any confidence they might have early on. grizzlyg
The bonkers thing is we are getting all the plaudits, dons getting slated yet if they win are only a point behind us. Let's make sure that doesn't happen

Let's see where we both are in February or March and then take stock.
texanwellfan
Would love this to be the game where it all clicks and we start converting our chances and beat them soundly so that I can just sit back, relax And enjoy. Hoping Just is back amd able to play in at least part Of the game if not from the start
mio
In normal circumstances a game like this would terrify me. Playing a team without a win or a goal would normally equate to us being on the receiving end of a defeat and Aberdeen(any team) breaking their bad run. I don’t get this with JBAs team, I’m looking forward to it and looking forward to hopefully having a couple of injured players back. Hopefully our first 3 points of the season. Updated to 3-0 after their defeat last night, as anything less wouldn’t reflect where our team and theirs are right now. Just will come off the bench for Said, dribble through their entire team, and walk it straight into the net for the third.

I just meant it shows you how bonkers football can be when a team under so much pressure could possibly be only 1pt behind us come 8.00 on sat. However JBA for me has been a revelation and not the manager you want to be on wrong side of so he will have players well up for it on Saturday COYW
